The hotel is some 15 km away from the highway, with tens of hairpin turns uphill. In a dark, rainy night getting there is quite an experience.
Check-in was warm and efficient. The room - quite basic (which is what we chose), though I think that two night stands is the norm rather than the one that we had. Linens and towels of reasonable quality, shower OK if a bit on the small side.
Lobby and restaurant with modern decoration and good acoustics. Plenty of food with our half-board plan, quality was OK, food not imaginative. Wines fairly priced, selection so-so, mostly simple and inexpensive, some more complex and expensive - and very little in between; the popular wines were not in stock.
Nice Wellness Center, free entrance to hotel guests but the costly robe-towel-slippers kit was in fact an entrance fee in disguise. I didn't appreciate this tactics.
The hotel is close to a ski lift and thus popular in winter. I'm not a skier; I doubt that I'll return.
