Also, the city hosts a number of fantastic art and music festivals throughout the year. So, whether you are into cultural jaunts or just want to kick back and enjoy a beer with a bohemian twist, Toronto has it covered.

Culture vultures: kill two birds with one stone by exploring the exhibitions housed in the architectural masterpiece that is the Royal Ontario Museum. Art lovers: schedule in an afternoon at the Art Gallery of Ontario and examine over 400,000 photographic prints as well as a fascinating selection of art and sculpture.

Toronto has plenty of attractions to keep the whole family entertained, from the enchanting and magical Casa Loma to the pioneering Toronto Zoo. And, of course, no trip to Toronto would be complete without visiting the biggest and best theme park in North America Canada’s Wonderland is the perfect place for the whole family to let loose and have fun.

With the magnificent Canadian wilderness on its doorstep, Toronto is regarded as a gateway to nature so grab your gear and explore the stunning natural beauty of the Great Lakes and their surroundings. The city is also a fantastic springboard from which to explore neighbouring attractions. Hop in a car and drive to the spectacular Niagara Falls. As a single visitor, l felt safe going out and felt really glad that l didn't need to have someone with me. Although it was really nice to have a good friend take me to see Niagra Falls. I will be returning.

A great city, plenty to see and do. Locals are very friendly and helpful. Transportation can be quite restrictive if parts of the Streetcar network are out of action but this is rare.
