The Pool and Whirlpool were shut down for repairs and maintenance for all but one day of my vacation. I discovered this on the second day of my stay. The management did nothing to compensate us for the shutdown; and, the communication about the shutdown was not provided at check-in. I will never book at the Fairmount again!

The only thing that was bad was the offsite parking. If you valet it is not an issue at all. The location was amazing and the hotel itself was clean and the on-site restaurants were very good. It is also within walking distance from many attractions. The staff was awesome, I will definitely be back

Beautiful hotel that never disappoints. Our room was actually set up for someone else. There was a card in the room for their hotel membership and a full set of gym clothes in the closet.

The pillow top mattress was great, the rooms could use some updates and the floor we were one (1st floor) smelled mildew and like mold in the hallways as soon as you get out the elevator the scent hits you. There was Cobb webs in corners of the ceiling which I called the front desk about and they handled it right away (thankfully)

They need a ramp from the parking entrance. It was difficult carrying a suitcase up the stairs to the lobby.

Hotel has all the charm of a castle. Room was very clean and well appointed. However bathroom ceiling paint was peeling, old hotel so I expected a few weathered places.
