The sheets had stains on them. The entire facility is two separate places that are very sketchy. The key to get into the building didn’t work for us until one of the employees fixed it. Overall, not a very good experience.

Pros: The guy running the place truly wanted to fix any issues that arose and put effort in to do so. The room was a full sized room for one and wasn't a problem on that front. Cons: Things didn't work (lights, AC, keys initially) Key was fixed. Others were not. AC was changed some but as the AC wasn't room specific it couldn't accommodate any one persons requests. Light wasn't a big deal. It was one room of three. Just an annoyance. AC was rough though. They have a weird policy of 100 deposit if it's on card or 200 if it's cash which makes no sense but they did return the 200 so it wasn't a scam or anything. Overall you will get most or all of what you expect. But sometimes it will be just most and you may have to make do.

No parking, they gave me a permit to park on the street but I still got a ticket. And in this day and age you would think you could get a television with more than one channel on it.

I like the location of the room and that they offer simple rooms. I don't like how we had to wait 30 min and call multiple times to check in because the doors were all locked and nobody was there.

This property was exactly as expected& the staff was excellent. We had an issue where the previous persons staying in our room had stored something with a horrid smell in the fridge. When we opened it the entire room was wretched. Despite being very much booked for the evening the staff managed to find us another room quickly. The location was perfect& there are a ton of options in the area to grab great food! Will be back!

It's hard to know this is a hotel when one walks by it, but for the price it's a good deal. My room is on the second floor that is accessed by narrow staircase. The WiFi worked well, and the room is pretty spacious. The hotel is also quite central and close to Chinatown.

Well, it is ok, but would not stay again.
The building is not meant for hotels. It is converted from other purposes. That is fine, but one of our concerns is we could not see any sign of emergency exit from our room door. And actual emergency exits are far from the room. One side of hallway does not have the exit at all, and the other side leads to the hotel entrance and an emergency exit at the end of another hallway. Very far. The light fixture of room has multiple bulb sockets, and about 2/3 of sockets do not have bulb, i.e., bare sockets. The room is fairly darker, especially the bathroom. The room has a small kitchen with some pots and tableware, a microwave, kettle, and fridge. So it is ok to stay inexpensively in Toronto.
