Second stay in a week, the owners welcomed me back like a friend. This is a lovely place, comfortable and a great breakfast. Enough said. Ok, 10 mins to Centre.

Superb hotel. Quiet Location only 10 mins walk south of centre. Wonderful happt and accomodating hosts, great bed. Breakfast is just right too. I loved my stay here.

The staff at the hotel were so helpful! It’s located in an amazing area and is very clean. It could definitely use a facelift at some point, but it was priced super reasonable.

I really enjoyed my stay. Location is convenient to everything in Tirana. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The rooms and property are clean, quiet and have everything you'll need. Owners and staff are friendly and very helpful.

Lovely place to stay for a great price! The food (breakfast) and service are very good and the staff is very friendly. The location is very safe and close to the city center. Overall would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Tirana!

Budget Hotel
This is a Budget hotel. If your fine with that type this place, you will enjoy. The mattress did need changing. Overall an ok place for the price. Owners were very nice and helpful and were always concerned.

I had a rental car and the parking lot was three minutes away for five bucks a night. The hotel is in the center of everything: restaurant and bars right next door with an awesome breakfast. 10 minute walk to skandenberg square and all the shops and things to do you could want. Personnel at the hotel went above and beyond to help with check in and friendliness. Albanian people in general are the friendliest people but they drive like they’re Indy race car drivers so beware. Loved the place, the prices were unbelievably cheap for everything and we loved our visit to Tirana and Saranda. Thanks for making this hotel available.

The City Hotel is a wonderful option for travelers to Albania. It is very centrally located near the Block area, the southern part of the city, the Park, and the area around Rr Elbasanit, but it is located on a quiet road away from traffic and noise. The hotel itself is in a three story building which is clean, calm, quiet, and very nicely furnished. Its rates are affordable given its excellent location and comfortable furnishings. It's run by a friendly family who speak excellent English and are always available to help out with directions, taxis, and tours. It's highly recommended.

Wonderful small hotel in the middle of everything. Friendly staff. Very clean. Very good breakfast. One minus only. There are 4 stories of steep stairs and no elevator (the building is old). So if you have any health problems and can’t climb the stairs, this hotel is not for you. But everything else is delightful

This hotel is excellent value for money ($35/night) and included breakfast. The breakfast is simple continental in offerings although they do provide a cooked choice which varies daily. The rooms are functional , but utilitarian. This is not the Ritz. There is an en suite bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet with soap and towels. Separate heat and AC is provided for each room. I did not use either so do not know if they are noisy. Other guests may be, but this did not bother me. There is no elevator. The staff is very friendly and speak good English. It’s close to everything and round the corner from the American Embassy which is surrounded by a 12 foot wall and armed security cards patrolling outside. I got stopped and questioned for taking a picture, a chilling experience.

Great little hotel close to the action!
I stayed three nights at the City Hotel and was overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff. They did all they could to help and always seemed to go the extra mile. I had the cheapest single room on offer (I think) but it had a balcony and like the rest of the hotel was spotlessly clean and had all you needed. I would go back to the hotel for sure but would probably spend a little more for a bigger room. Nonetheless the hotel is great value for money and the breakfast very good too. The hotel is near lots of trendy bars and restaurants and definitely in one of the better parts of the city. Tirana itself is dripping with history and I challenge anyone not to be moved by what the Albanians have had to endure. I was pleasantly surprised how clean the city seemed to be, but also genuinely overwhelmed by the kindness and friendliness of the Albanian people.

The hotel is in a great area and the staff is very friendly but the electricity of the hotel went off and we didn't have AC for 2 hrs at least. The hotel has no elevator.

Great hotel in a great location
This hotel is one of the hidden gems of Tirana. The hotel itself is modest and the rooms on the smaller side, but they are impeccably clean, comfortable, stylish, and have all the amenities you need. But the hotel's location, in a quiet alley, is very close to excellent restaurants, businesses, offices, and other amenities in one of Tirana's better neighborhoods. Normally, their prices are also much below average and thus represent excellent value for money. I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

great location in centre of Tirana
City Hotel is located on a quiet alley off the street in a tree-shaded section of Tirana within walking distance of all major tourist sites. Rooms have air conditioning that you can regulate, as well as windows that open. Rooms are comfortable with a clean, modern design. The lobby is secure with someone on the desk 24hrs and room keys collected from guests whenever they leave. The only disadvantage is the lack of an elevator, which might bother less muscular clients. Staff very pleasant, breakfasr excellent, lots of cafes, bars and restaurants close by.

Very nice hotel, central location, great staff!
I´ve stayed at City Hotel Tirana twice now and I have to say that each experience was great! The hotel is clean, comfortable, centrally located on a very nice and green street with cafes and restaurants, and well managed by a friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on visiting Tirana and wants all the amenities of any top hotel for a very reasonable price.

Stay away this is not even a hotel
Is just a big house next to an apartment building is very lousy there's no parking the rooms was extremely small with a tine shared balcony . This area off town is very lousy could not go to sleep because off the noise and woke up at 6 am .

Yes, the hotel is located in one of the trendy part of Tirana and nearby the Government Offices, but the rooms are still quiet and almost every guest has mentioned it in previous reviews.
