"The restaurant served good food and staffs are veey friendly. The only concern will be the noise from next door. My sister's room was block out 3 to 4 times in the night, and eventually the staff brought in the fan. Rather unpleasant experience. Hopefully the hotel should look into this, maybe the maintenance issue."

Unfortunately one member of the group slipped over and hurt their leg quite badly, but the staff were incredible and organised crutches and took such care. "Great location right in the centre of Phu Ly and with a lovely view of the river which was really pretty at sunset. The room was very clean and modern, with a great shower. The buffet breakfast had lots of choice, with eggs and pho cooked to order. The pool was great. Everyone at the hotel was really kind and friendly, especially Linh and Anh on reception. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Dzung and his wife Dep have made a lovely homestay. They are super sweet and accommodating. My room was large, comfortable and had an awesome view. They provide bikes to get around and Grabs are super easy to get. Dzung even arranged a private car transfer to and from Hanoi. I would absolutely stay here again!"

Breakfast had decent options and the goat soup with scorched rice I ordered for room service was incredible. It is not too far from main attractions and since transportation from Grab or scooter is an option, it makes it pretty easy. I would definitely come back here again"

"Nan House had the most lovely property that felt like a serene oasis. Beautiful pool which was fabulous for relaxing and cooling off at the end of the day. The surroundings were peaceful and we really appreciated the location outside of the busy town. It was easily walkable to town and there was a fantastic restaurant 5 min. away. We had delicious breakfasts with good variety and dinner one evening there was very good also. The staff were fun and friendly. They were so accommodating and helpful. We were very well taken care of. I would highly recommend Nan house!"
