Having lived in this area before OYO bought the facility, I didn't realize when I reserved it, but this used to be the... Red-light hotel for illicit activities on this strip. I would have gotten another hotel, however I was told by the proprietor that if I did so, I'd lose my deposit. The company that bought it did no upgrades, they simply painted over the existing mess. The housekeeper was smoking as she went through every room. The pool is disgusting and there were broken needles everywhere throughout the lot. Ironically, the company's colors meant that the front was lit up in Red lights, and considering its past, that was pale beyond comparison. DO NOT choose this hotel.

The first room they provided the room to the door would not lock, and looked like it had been kicked in at some point. The knob on the bathroom was about to fall out of the door. They moved us to a different room. The light as you came in would turn off randomly, later it would not turn on. The water pressure in the shower was weak and the shower head was for someone that was below 5'4" I am 5'11" I has to duck to use it. The toilet was loses and felt like it was going to tip over. They had a pool it was filled and the gate was unlocked, yet it was closed, there was no sign saying it was closed, they said they were waiting for a permit from the city.....I will spend a little more next time and stay somewhere else.

There was nothing redeeming about this property. The hotel was filthy with cigarette burns all over the walls and in the sheets of the bed. The owner was extremely rude and there was a $50 deposit that was never mentioned. The property was full of heavy drug users and dangerous people.

was checked into a room that didn't have a working A/C, then the bathroom light didn't work, and tried to reset a GFI outlet only to have it spark and trip a breaker, was moved to another room that was smoking and had sheets and blankets with cigarette burns on them.

Our first room was completely dirty and the electricity was off. We complained they gave us another room. And this room was even worse. Shoe stains and dirty hand prints on the blankets and pillows, mold on bathroom ceiling, unsafe activity around the premises. Do not stop here keep going. It is not worth the health risk. unless you dislike your life very much.

Well the sheets were dirty, there was a hard McChicken sandwich in the microwave.. and after about an hour some guy knocked on our door wanting to trade drugs.. I guess he thought we did drugs ?? Won't stay again ..

We stayed for four nights the second day I told him the toilet seat was broken. Unfortunately, the toilet seat was still broken. When I left on the fourth day, we had a beg for towels and when we received towels they did not look like they were clean. They only do the room every other day, I definitely would not recommend it We used just straight hot water and it was not hot. The shower curtain was broken down The room just in very poor shape.

I was driving all day helping my mom move out of state so I decided to stay here. As soon as I got my key card for my room the door handle was jammed. I had to turn it and really push the door open. As soon as I walked in it smelled. The bed was filthy and filled with stains. You can tell the room was not cleaned for a long time. I left right away and booked a room somewhere else. I still have yet to receive a refund and my deposit back. Shame on you guys.

The first issue I have is they make you stand outside to check in even in freezing weather with high winds. Second issue I have is they do not tell you if your hotel card goes anywhere near your cell phone it no longer works. Finally about the room first they had no towels in the room the floor was so filthy made my feet black and cockroaches are definitely crawling around

When I got there the door was already opened to my room. The lock wasn’t working..Water was super HOT ! The light was out and I was told there was not anymore bulbs. Also the sheets had stains on them and I didn’t receive new ones like I asked for. When I asked for another room I was told that I would be charged extra and that makes no sense because it wasn’t my fault. Worst hotel ever !!!

All the electrical outlets sparked, walls looked like they were patch and painted in that one spot. The bathroom towels looked like one was used by a mechanic and then washed and put out there to use.

When I first arrived at the OYO I had to wait an extremely long time to get into the room that I had booked online. I booked ahead of time so they should've known I was coming. By the time I finally got into the room I noticed that there wasn't any toilet paper or soap. The room was very hot and the a/c was very dirty with dust and black mold. I wouldn't recommend bringing your kids here. Also seen a cockroach floating in the pool. Was very displeased about my stay

This is literally the worst hotel I have ever seen. The room was discussing there was Food and trash under both beds the floor wa soggy and part of the floor was sagging lokd it was aboif to fall in.

Horrible experience, If you’re looking at the pictures it’s definitely nothing like that when you actually stay. The shower didn’t work. The room was disgusting and they charge for children to stay. 50.00 deposit that we still haven’t gotten back. The person that checked us in was super rude. 0/10 definitely wouldn’t stay even if it was free.

Although the outward appearance is not so great at the moment ( there are major renovations going on ) if finances are an issue , this hotel offers the same service as most others at twice or more the price. I have stayed here on several occasions

This hotel is HORRIBLE. I do not recommend anyone stay here. The owners are RUDE and they will cheat you out if your money. They charged me for an extra night and would not refund my money! There were also bed bugs and they would not change my room. I slept with my own blanket which now has to be washed. Do not stay here!

Everything was great. I had lots of fun in Texarkana. Saw friends and family and ate lots of good food at local restaurants. The Motel was fabulos and close to activities.
