The location is awesome. It’s close to the highway and restaurants. What I did not like was we got there early and the desk clerk said check in is not until 3pm and there is “No exemption”! Every hotel we go they check to see if there is any room available. We came back after lunch at about 2pm and there was a different desk clerk and the gentleman checked us in before 3pm.

Excellent service and a great hotel overall. Only downside is Texarkana isn't the nicest of cities to stay in.

The staff were nice and the property was easy to get to. The breakfast was great. Unfortunately our room wasnt very clean and the shower drain wasn't working.

We had a king suite and it was huge! There was a separate living room/ kitchenette, plus a sofa in the bedroom. The bed was more comfortable than most. The biggest drawback was that the lighting in the rooms was very dim. On the upside, the hotel serves a free breakfast in a very clean, spacious area, with a nice selection and good food. We would stay there again.

The staff members don't listen. I asked for a room away from the elevator and was assigned a room almost directly across from the elevator. The bathroom was horrible: the handle fell off the door and for a minute I was locked in. There was barely any water pressure when taking a shower. And there was a blood stain on the top sheet.

Staff couldn’t be friendlier. Rooms are very clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Room had a separate seating area with a bedroom not just a bed in the middle of the room. Each space had its own tv. Breakfast was excellent. Lynda who prepared and staffed breakfast made every guest feel at home. Highly recommend waffles in the shape of the state of Texas. Definitely worth a detour.

The hotel had at least the the first three fire doors propped open. these stairs are essential escape routes in case of a fire but they don’t work at all if propped open. Indeed they would have spread a fire instantly from a lower fkoor to an upper. The breakfast was excellent but the coffee was terrible.

Look at the front toilet bowl to the floor in room, (I can’t remember if we were in 200 or 204, we were on the end) Pee stained drippings. Needs to be cleaned. My bedside table had something spilled on it, sticky and visible, I thought maybe it was something that could not be cleaned as it was easily seen when I first walked into room. It came right up with a wash cloth. The think there are more sticky dripping down the side of the bedside table (window side). Elevator corners and every sideboard and floor corner of hotel is dirty These are signs the hotel is not being cleaned. I did not take pictures because I knew I would not come back. A clean hotel goes a long way. Breakfast was delicious and well supplied.

It was affordable, nice. Staff was great. The breakfast was awesome!!!!! Loved the cutlery dispenser. Prob much cleaner than everybody touching every handle in a manual dispensary.
