We had a lovely two nights stay and were very impressed with the quality and quantity of food included in the price. We definitely did not go hungry. The room and facilities were very good with lovely white bedding etc. Everyone was very nice and helpful which made our stay great.

Terrible service
Non-existent service, zero politeness. No greeting when we came in - no asking how our stay was on check out. When I complained that we didn’t sleep all night due to a BROKEN bed, I got zero apologies or compensation. All she said is she would pass on the message, like this is something a guest cares about. Unfortunately this is the only half decent option in Skien if you really need a place to sleep.

Friendly staff, very good bed. breakfast from 8 to 11 am. nice selction, with from fish , boiled eggs, scarabled eggs and bacon to cheese and red pepper. frankly i only noticed the salt and peper then i was done eating, asthe scrabled eggs as normal at hotels is more or less non existing, and i like a bit peppers and salt on it, but even with out it was fairly ok , as i added bacon so it got some flamour.

Nice stay in Skien
Comfortable hotel near Skien centre. Free dinner is a big plus! Free parking near the caravan parking. Rooms are okay and clean.

Very pleasant hotel with lovely location

Extremely convenient, and (pet) friendly hotel!
We were in town to pick up our new puppy, and this hotel was pet-friendly. The clerks in the reception doted on our little puppy, and not once did we feel like we were an inconvenience. This hotel serves an afternoon snack, and dinner, included in the price. This made for an exceptionally easy experience for my daughter and I, who had our little puppy along. Wonderful place!

Property was quite nice and clean. Easy to get to and staff was incredibly nice with great amenities. Would recommend asking about parking specifically because there is private parking in the back and can end with a ticket.

Excellent value in Skien
Located within a short walk from Telemark Canal cruise dock this hotel was chosen for it's location but it was so much more. Meals are included in the room price; both breakfast, dinner, and a snack. The food was made fresh and the quality and quantity way above the usual hotel fare. There is a bar in the hotel and several restaurants along the waterfront. The desk clerk helped us find parking, made sure we knew where the boat was leaving from and stored our bags for us until we got back, even opened breakfast early so we could eat before we left! Rooms were sparking clean, included a mini fridge, black out shades, and the beds were good. There is a library area in addition to the lobby. Home away from home.

Skien - good hotel
Hotel is in a great waterside location, less than five minutes from the centre of Skien. The addition of free afternoon snacks and evening dinner is a nice touch. Decent size room and reliable free wifi.

We stayed for one night. OK hotel. The room was bright and clean but not very cosy. This room is meant to sleep in and nothing more. I think the price is too high for this very standard and basic hotel.

This was a business trip with other colleagues. Stayed two nights and ate in the hotel taking advantage of their very nice evening food. Plenty of coffee etc. all day long.

For my 6th business trip to Porsgrunn I wanted to try this hotel in Skien for a change and was not disappointed. Everything was well kept, no noise in the room and the fitness room was the little extra thing I wanted.

A pleasant enough hotel
Staff were very nice and professional. Breakfast & cold supper excellent. Room faced a brick wall. Parking unduly expensive in view of the locality but this is more a Norwegian problem than entirely the fault of the hotel.

My partner and i stayed for 4, nights in July, we have family living in Skien, the Hotel is situated right in the center of Skien, situated by the water, we were treated very well by the Hotel Staff, always smiling, and nothing was too much trouble. The Breakfast was very good, there was afternoon tea, and a Buffet included in the evening, that was not expected. But very welcome, because the cost of eating out is very expensive in Norway. We will be staying here again,as we will be visiting the family quite often.nearly forget to mention the Sauna etc on the top floor.

En blandet fornøyelse som ikke forsvarer prisen.
Veldig hyggelig personale i resepsjonen,god mat inkludert i romprisen og pene fellesarealer. Men på mitt baderom var det minst 15 knekte veggfliser langs gulvet og det ga inntrykk av "sloppy" vedlikehold og ikke minst et variert renhold.

Fant kondomer på nattbordet
Vi hadde et fint opphold her. Hotellet var helt greit og de ansatte var høflige og imøtekommende. Vi fant en pakke med kondomer på nattbordet vårt, som var litt ekkelt. Det burde vel renholdspersonalet ha fjernet før vi sjekket inn? Gir litt trekk for det. Ellers var vi fornøyde med oppholdet.

Vi sjekket inn på julaften, og følte vel litt på at de ansatte helst ville vært hjemme enn på jobb denne dagen… ellers bra! Rommet var fryktelig mørkt!, måtte nesten ta med kofferten inn på badet for å se innholdet! Kunne med fordel vært både en og to lamper til i rommet! Det var ikke redd opp til barna på sovesofaen da vi kom - dette måtte vi si ifra om. Ellers fint rom til en familie på 4:), og god frokost!:)
