OK hotel in historic building but poor breakfast
The River Side Hotel is a good hotel with a few issues. The location is excellent to access any part of Tbilisi either walking or by Taxi/Bolt. We had three issues which lowered our opinion of this hotel: a) breakfast was very poor - the selection was very limited and most of it was not tasty. Though we have a reservation with breakfast, after the first day, we chose to skip breakfast and take it outside the hotel. b) we had 2 rooms - one was excellent, the 2nd was a bit creepy with it's colors and style c) room service was done very late - we came back at 17:00 on one day and the rooms were not done yet. They did quickly come up to make the rooms when we complained. Overall, it's a fair value for the price paid, but we would have expected more for a 4* hotel with such high ratings on hotels.com (especially in regards to breakfast).

Dear Michael, thanks for your review. Honestly you are the first guest who complained about our breakfast as it is very delicious and options are vast based on price. Starting from premium coffees and champagne to butter croissants and lots of options. Why would you call it poor we cannot understand. Regarding room service, it is done between 13:00 to 18:00 period, so we were not late and writing low score ruined our ranking and made our day bad. Best.

After my first stay at this hotel, I was amazed by the hospitality and friendliness of the hotel. That's why I ordered it next time! The team is great, polite! All requests are executed quickly! Bar and restaurant of excellent quality! The hotel is located in the heart of Tbilisi! Everything is within walking distance! I highly recommend it!

A pleasant enough stay. As a hotels.com gold member, I was upgraded to a larger room. The room could be best described as Soviet chic and had a bizarre constant smell of women's perfume, but fortunately the windows opened. Many of the rooms including mine faced onto a busy road, and could get noisy at times. The included breakfast was adequate, but not great. Avoid buying drinks or meals at the restaurant on the top of the hotel unless you are on an expense account as the costs are ridiculously high. The laundry was similarly you expensive. Otherwise, no complaints.

Lovely stay
Hospitality was superb, smiling people and manager greeting guests in the morning, did have a quick chat with him about the hotel. He asked for suggestion about breakfast which was already very good. For the given price range it was much better than I thought, from walnuts and fresh waffles to lava cakes and great cup of coffee and hot omelets, Nice selection of salads as well, I really enjoyed tomatoes in Georgia and tiffany bar was not an exemption.

Having stayed in many decent hotels in Tbilisi riverside seems to be my favorite place. Room was luxurious with peaceful sleep and hot bath. Balcony was large and breakfast delicious with even champagne available.

Four Night Stay
Beautiful hotel with exquisite crown molding and chandeliers throughout. Being a real estate investor, I really enjoy that kind of thing. The bed in the suite was much more comfortable than the superior room. Short walk to the President of Georgias house. I loved working out of the Tiffany bar on the first floor; it has amazing furniture and ambiance. The breakfast staff in the Tiffany bar was also very kind. Tiffany Terrace on the roof has good food and I think the price is reasonable for a boutique hotel in this part of the world. As much as I liked this hotel, there were two negatives. The first day I checked in, I went to the restaurant on the roof in the evening. I sat at the bar and was there literally ten minutes before the two staff members who were directly in front of me, acknowledged my presence. The girl who I believe is the restaurant manager, was one of the two staff members, and she was not very friendly to me the entire four days I was there, whether it was the Tiffany bar or the Tiffany Terrace. Secondly, I already think peoples manner have deteriorated with smart phones, with the use of speaker in public areas. Sunday afternoon, a family came into the Tiffany bar (I believe they were part of the group that owns the hotel). They proceeded to allow their kids to run around the restaurant like it's a playground and watch movies on their tablets on speaker, with no consideration for paying customers. Most of the staff are excellent and kind.

The best staff customer care I have received. Special thanks to reception and restaurant staff for their warm attitude during all times. Room was comfortable even with coffee machine and lots of tv channels. Location is great and parking was also free. Tiffany is a real gem. I will be back surely

Stayed in Riverside for two nights, however could not extend more as it was fully booked for New Year. I like their special scent when you enter the lobby area and nice table with free welcome drink which I was offered during all day. Pretty good Sparking Wine. Room had great view over the park. Slept well, Internet speed was great and room was cozy. Bathroom with great shower and all the amenities I was hoping for including shaving accessories for free. I would love to come back.

this place exceeded my expectations by far! people working there were amazingly helpful, spoke perfect English, location is great to reach Rustaveli avenue within minutes. Room was clean and much more packed with amenities than in some five star hotels i have stayed before. slept well, eat well during breakfast. If I were to go back, I would definitely stayed here again

The hotel is a little gem in Tbilisi. Location is good and staff is very helpful catching taxis and negotiating the best prices. Taxis in tbilisi try to double the price but bellboy was very helpful in this. Room on the 4th floor had a great terrace type balcony. Vibe is amazing and tiffany restaurants inside also full of trendy locals.

Great Vibe and Experience at Riverside
One of the best hotel experiences I ever had. Staff went beyond to make my third stay here great. I was upgraded, treated well. Room was huge, beautiful and cozy. Bed was large enough and wifi was very fast. Morning breakfast very delicious and fresh. Tiffany terrace is a gem and very beautiful. They were decorating the hotel for NY and it was beautiful so much. From bad side - my stay is short.
