"This was a really beautiful property, the location to the beach was amazing! The grounds were stunning as well! The staff was friendly and very helpful! It was nice to have the option to check out boogie boards right at the hotel, or you can rent surfboards right there as well. Our transportation to our next location didn't come until 3 hours after check out and they allowed us keep our luggage in a secure location and even had showers available if we wanted! This was a beautiful property!"

"Casa Mapache is a lovely place managed by lovely people. The spacious, clean room had a king size bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four with two "tween" boys who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to! "The staff was super friendly when we needed help getting a taxi to go outside of town. There was also a situation where a drunk man followed us and the hotel staff helped protect us. They also provided great recommendations and the complimentary breakfast and welcome beverage was a perk. The bed was also extremely comfortable! Thank you!"

"The swimming pool is huge, can easily accommodate scores of people. Rooms basic, but entirely sufficient for overnight stay. If staying longer, one might like to have a small fridge in the room, especially as no lunch services in the facility. (The two of us had a portable cooler that proved sufficent for out purposes during our one-week stay). Breakfast, dinner entirely satisfactory, the latter served 7-8 PM only. -- Price-to-room ration favourable"
