The room was clean and comfy and fair value for money. The staff were generally good but laundry service was terrible. I submitted laundry on the day that I checked out and requested the express service, which was listed as "drop off before 9am, return before 4pm" for 50% surcharge and told them that I'd return to collect after 4PM because I needed clean clothes before business dinner that night. I returned in a Taxi to collect my clothes at 5pm and was told they weren't back and that they would call me as soon as they arrived. I received no call, and had to wear inappropriate, somewhat smelly clothes to dinner. I phoned again the next morning, still no clothes. I phoned again in the evening and my clothes were available but they still hadn't called me as they said they would! I would stay there again but I certainly wouldn't use the laundry service.

NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE!!!
VERY DISAPPOINTED! No Airport Shuttle! We booked this hotel for the ease with a layover and for the 'Free Airport Shuttle'. THERE WAS NO SHUTTLE. We had to pay a taxi to the airport. I am not happy with the deception here. Was very average hotel. Not impressed.

Good value in a good location
Good sized room, comfortable bed and great new bathroom. Was disappointing that the room had a strong smoke smell. When we asked we were told all rooms were non-smoking. I guess the last guests didn't get that message.

A nice place for a night
I had a corner unit with two twin beds, more space than other units. I can walk to MinSen East Road and only anout 10 min by taxi from High speed train station. Many restaurants are nearby. Breakfast is just right and is included. A nice place to stay overnight.

Overall nice and clean, spacious room, but not so convenient for food and a bit far from train station. Noise insulation should be improved.

Amazing hotel stay
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room conditions were excellent, and overall, the hotel was a very cosy place to stay at after a long day. My friends and I loved this hotel, and it is personally one of my favourites even though it's not as well known. Would definitely recommend it to others in the future!!

Good hotel for a business trip
Hotel is in a good location, less than ten minutes' walk from Xingtian Temple metro station. Staff are friendly and obliging, rooms are clean. Air conditioning works well. You could complain about the condition of the carpets if you are fussy about that kind of thing. Room is a reasonable size. More than adequate for a business trip.

Good value for budget travelers
The hotel is at a convenient location for catching the public transportation. The staff is very polite and attentive. Since it's right next to an express way, the traffic noise is inevitable. Overall, this hotel is a good value for budget travelers.

Great Service, Great Location
Upon arrival, the staff was very welcoming with their great smiles and attitude. The check in process took less than three minutes. The hotel consists of eight floors, with several units on each floor. Power access to each room relies on docking your key, although this feature is available at many hotel rooms I always appreciate it because you will never misplace the key ! The room was spacious, clean, well lit and had a balcony. Due to the summer heat in Taiwan, I decided to leave it closed. The room was organized and well maintained. The oversized washroom featured a full size bathtub, toilet and sink. The hotel also provides basic amenities such as toothbrush, a comb, cotton buds etc. Wireless Internet is available throughout the hotel via a secured guest network. The signal is great in the lobby area, the hallways, rooms and the underground restaurant. Breakfast featured a selection of breads and spreads, several taiwanese delicacies, steamed buns and coffee, tea and juice. The food was fresh and hot and was quite tasty! The night before checking out, I realized I needed to stay two extra nights. The hotel staff were helpful and polite and quickly helped me arranged that. Thankfully the hotel had a room vacant for two extra nights. I suggest this hotel for business, travellers and families as its location allows easy access to public transportation, is budget friendly and offers great value. :) Special Thanks to Ruby C for her outstanding service.

It was easy to reach this hotel from the MRT station, which took about 5-7 minutes. All staff were nice with smiles and very helpful when we asked about items we needed.

Convenient and friendly staff
Around 5-10 minutes walk from the station. There are many shops along the way. I like to get the milk tea and dinner on the way back to hotel for supper after a whole day trip. I am pretty satisfied with the services etc. The only thing is that the free breakfast doesn't have much variety.

Clean and spacious room
We had a quad room which was spacious, comfy and clean. It was within walking distance from Xingtian Temple station so was reasonably convenient. The only drawback was that not the whole room was covered by wifi signal.

The hotel location near xingtiangong station abt 10 to 15 mins walk. Overall, the hotel everything okay. Most impt to me is clean. The breakfast not many choices. During summer time might have mosquito in the room. The hotel near one fruit and veg market (cheap) as well as one famous Japanese restaurant (Shang Yi shui Chang:15 mins walk) And a lot of stalls and restaurant behind the hotel.

Great hotel
We were happy with our stay in the hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite Room and our room was spacious. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The only cons that we feel is that they have to improve their breakfast menu and that the location is far from MRT station, but the staff gladly assisted us whenever we need to call a cab. Nothing much in the surrounding, though there is a convenience store 5mins from the hotel. They said that the location is mostly for businessmen that's why shopping malls/restaurants are nowhere to be found in the area.

Nice hotel
The hotel is about 10 minute (by walk) from the nearest metro station (Xingtiangong). It looks newly renovated. There is a street with many restaurants near the hotel and we had some great food at good price. One day our door lock didn't work, and the staff quickly fixed it during the time we went out for dinner. Overall nice hotel and friendly staff.

Too Many Problems
There were so many things wrong with the hotel: 1. The room was dark and dingy. It didn't help that one of the lights would not always work. Another light was broken from the start. After asking the hotel staff to fix it, the light worked for a total of ONE day. 2. This is the 21st century; everyone has electronic devices needing to be recharged. The room only had two free outlets, and they didn't always work. One affects the TV if used. There seems to be electrical wiring problems in this hotel. 3. The room had a musty smell and worst at head board of the bed. It did not make sleeping very pleasant. 4. At one point in time, the TV was having problems. The staff was informed, and the TV was fixed. 5. The mini refrigerator was old and barely working. Also, the temperature setting knob was missing. 6. The pictures of the hotel are misleading. Everything was old and broken. Although the staff was professional, responsive, and friendly, it did not make up for all the problems.

Good location, convenient to subway and central Taipei. Clean and comfortable room, OK for an overnight stay. Most front-desk staff can speak some English. Interior is a bit dated, however and amenities are limited.

Great value for money hotel in centre of Taipei
The hotel is very central but quiet. The rooms are a bit tired but they are clean and spacious. The staff are very helpful and the low cost means the hotel is very good value for money. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a decent and value for money hotel in the centre of Taipei.

Dingy hotel, very dark and dank room with musty furniture. No shower curtain in the bathroom. I highly recommend staying at Zimei Beauty Hotel for the same price instead.

The Pretty Hotel was very clean. The building was a bit old but the location was great. The staff spoke English and were very helpful. The only bad thing about staying here was the breakfast. It mainly catered to the Chinese crowd and was not suited to my taste. However, I would definitely stay here again and really enjoyed my time there.

The staff people were very kind and helpful, but that was the only upside of this hotel. My room was dimly lit and had only one tiny window, and as a result it felt downright gloomy. The first room they put me in was too far away from the wireless router for the internet to work. It was a longer walk than I expected to the metro, and the neighborhood wasn't much fun. I'll stay somewhere else next time.

Lovely staff
Although on first appearance I was not impressed, until I went inside, room was clean and very nice to my surprise. The hotel staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Their English was a bit limited, but enough to get by. I certainly would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget, it is well worth the money. Everything you need is with in walking distance. Laundry, 7/11 and food outlets. Thanks to all the staff for an enjoyable stay.

Great value and friendly staff
I was very pleased with the staff's polite and courteous ways and always greeting us when we arrived or left. Also, they made sure to tag and secure out luggage when we arrived ahead of the check-in time. The room was always cleaned up well, comfortable and well provide for. The room layout was also very good, especially the bathroom. The dining area was also very clean, well laid-out, well-lit and had a good layout of food. The workers in the dining area always cleared up the dirty dishes and were very polite. This was a great value for the service we received.

가격대비 만족도가 아주 높은 호텔 입니다 조식도 만족하고 청결도 또한 오케이입니다 에어컨 문제인지 몰라도 실내온도가 안 떨어집니다 게다가 밤12시에 1시간 가량 정전이 됐는데 아무 조치가 없었던 점은 아쉽습니다

星級酒店的服務品質
雖然是一個小商旅，但入住後發現此間的員工做事都很細心，例如：與櫃台借用指甲剪，員工會先消毒後再提供給客人，住宿前要求提供嬰兒床，進房後發現不但做到了連浴室都幫我們預備好嬰兒洗澡盆與小板凳，真是貼心與用心，最佳的服務就是要如此，在客人還未提出需求時就已經先被滿足了！ 飯店的自助式早餐也很用心，入住兩天的菜色都有適當更換，不會每天一成不變的，現場的服務阿姨也是笑容滿面且服務周到親切，用餐環境也很輕鬆舒適整潔，相信此間商旅的管理者相當用心的教育員工並且確實感受與實踐，服務用心度與星級飯店相同，著實感動，商旅地點就在建國高架橋下上高速很方便。

雖然是老店重新拉皮，但房間地毯污漬太多實在不怎麼乾淨，建議該換新的。還有床擺巾都是發霉痕跡也應該換掉。浴室雖然重新裝修過；但是有很重的臭味，詢問房務人員解釋是飯店排水管問題，為什麼要消費者花錢住宿還要聞廁所臭味。
