The staff was overall nice but many people would hangout right in front of the entrance smoking and blocking the doors. This caused the entire area to smell like cigarettes constantly and seemed unsafe at times. Some hallways smelled like urine as well

I made a reservation and when I got there they said they couldn't find my reservation and when I went onto the app and asked Expedia what was going on they said my payment couldn't be verified and then the lady at extended stay she said she refused to honor my reservation at her own personal discretion and that she didn't need to tell me why.... She told me to then go make a reservation with a different motel AND THAT SHE WOULD LET HER GENERAL MNG KNOW BUT SHE DIDNT SHE MARKED ME AS A NO SHOWso I made one with the days inn where I was treated way better. But EXTENDED STAY STILL CHARGED ME FOR THE NIGHT BUT LUCKILY EXPEDIA HAS MY BACK AND HAS ESCALATED THIS ISSUE TO MANAGEMENT BECAUSE EXTENDED STAY REFUSES TO REFUND MY MONEY EVEN THO THEY REFUSED TO EVEN LET ME CHECK IN.. ITS BEEN A HEADACHE BUT THX EXPEDIA FOR HELPING ME OUT.

The advertising is with breakfast included. But, they don't have breakfast. They serve coffee or tea with granola bars. This was very inconvenient.

No coffee in rooms, shampoo only, cheap “grab n go” breakfast, no kitchen utensils without request, remove your own garbage, very uncomfortable bed. Smells like animal urine. I will not stay with ESA again

the room was nice and the staff was super friendly and helpful. was kind of in a sketchy area of tacoma but the parking lot was gated! would probably stay again!

Dogs everywhere here. My first room stunk, dog hair on the carpet everywhere. I complained and got another room with hardwood floors, smelled better than the first room. I slept in my clothes, was supposed to stay 3 days, I checked out after one night!!

There was a problem between hotels.com and the hotel so that I reserved a room that they didn't have! All they had was a room with 2 beds, and the hotel policy was to charge me $20 more for it! Fortunately, the excellent staff were able to waive the extra charge, but it took them a long time to do.

It was an experience lol the heat didn’t work in the room for at least 2-3 days and nights and the staff got upset the moment I kept bringing it up. The staff wouldn’t supply any extra blankets almost every night I was cold and more tired than before it just wasn’t the most clean and I just will remember never to have a friend book a reservation for me again. It was my first time traveling and I just expected to be treated better. I even had to fight for clean towels and wash cloths I just ended up buying my own across the street. I was only there for a short time before I have to come back and I’m just not happy with the service and the way I was spoken to. I even called downstairs one night to confirm my time and day for checkout because I had seen a mistake on the reservation before the internet stopped working and the lady told me the wrong time and date and just hung up on me.. I wasn’t expecting anything glamorous I grew up very poor and have worked for everything I have today and I am still fine with the simplicity of life but this just was unacceptable.

This feels like a dirty filthy "I'm afraid of getting bedbugs" kind of place where I'm also afraid for safety. The carpet should be burned. The sink has food in it. The shower has hair in it. I will never stay in an Extended Stay EVER again.

For the Tacoma area the cost was very reasonable. Close to the Tacoma mall, local restaurants, and area hospitals. Gated parking area. Older facility and starting to show its age. Staff was friendly. Refrigerator, microwave, stove, and full sized refrigerator.

Staff was definitely extremely nice and the room was definitely what me and my husband needed, however the condition of the room was not too well the room had a funny smell, there was stains on the kitchen floor, bathroom walls, and refrigerator when I got there. The bed was okay and there was addicts and strange people staying there. If they renovated the rooms I think there will be some potential and better views but overall my stay was not too bad don’t have too many complaints

Its very convenient for us and the staff is good, but the rooms are rather dirty. Our first room, the toilet was plugged, and we couldn't get it unplugged. Also the stove top was quite greasy.
We got a new room, which was fine, except it looked like it had not been vacuumed. There were crumbs everywhere by the beds.

I left this hotel and stayed elsewhere even though I couldn’t get a refund. It just wasn’t pleasant at all. Really inconvenient front door and parking with gate gave the impression that it wasn’t safe. Smelly and run-down and not a place my daughter and I wanted to relax for the night.
