"Such a relaxing location. Lovely apartment. Once we understood the protocol, all went smoothly. We needed a stop to launder and rest. Three days isn’t long enough to wash AND dry, though, without an electric dryer, so the air dryer and the rain made it awkward. But that’s so unlikely a situation for most people. The large supply of nespresso coffee was an amazing bonus. If you’re buying food before arrival it’s important to realise that there isn’t an overn, microwave or toaster. Otherwise it’s just a perfect, calm, efficient hideaway I’d want to return to frequently. "

"Our room had a shower and bathroom, but not all rooms do - make sure you’re paying attention when booking so you don’t end up in communal showers, if you’re not familiar with them. There is a communal kitchen - you can cook your food and store it in the 2 available fridges. Guboja is located right on the shore of Curonian bay, only a bike/walk path separating them. It is amazing to sit in their yard and gaze at the water while enjoying a drink or a snack from their small bar. We stayed only one night, but the staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit tight. "
