The staff was so pleasant and friendly. When we checked in she asked for the reason we were visiting the area and the next day when we returned to the hotel she asked us about it.

The room was clean, fresh towels, fresh sheets, everything wiped down. No bad smells. Yes, there is a virtual receptionist for check in. But I have to say I preferred it that way. It’s very easy to use. One of downside is the breakfast. The toilet paper was very cheap and scratchy. And the air conditioner made some strange noises. Over all it is a very decent place to stay, I would recommend.

We initially had a room on the 2nd floor, where there was no elevator. However, the helpful person on the kiosk screen arranged for us to move to the 1st floor.

Check in weird. Video check in and very slow process, yet had a real on site person hand me a key. I thought it was the Wizard of Oz... Breakfast was minimal, went next door.

This hotel is located on the north side of Stevens Point, near an I-39 interchange. It is next to a larger hotel, a Comfort Inn that I have stayed in before, but decided to give this place a try. It is clearly an older property, and fairly small, only two floors with perhaps 20 rooms per floor. It has been renovated, but the older style room layout and tiny bathroom reveal its vintage. Other than a sink that drained slowly, everything else was fine, no complaints.....except it seemed I could hear the TVs in adjacent rooms more than I am used to. The hotel is in a district of strip malls and such, but surprisingly not that much in the way if nearby sit-down restauants. The UW campus is almost next door, just a few blocks away.

the kiosk checki-in process is terrible. i had two rooms on one reservation and each had to be checked in separately despite ONE reservation. Also, staff is rated “terrible” because they’re non-existent. the customer contact i has was with a computer screen. the neutral score for conditions was for my tv which wouldn’t turn on except to say their was no connection & there’s no room phone to call for help and if i did call who would i get because there’s no one at the desk anyway. i didn’t pursue any assistance with it because i was leaving for a play at UWSP & didn’t want anyone in my room while i was out for the night. stayed here in the past when visiting family @UWSP. this will have me choosing country inn next time.

Property told me that Expedia had “an error” in reservation. Spent 30min attempting to check in for my sons wedding after a 4hr drive. Eventually settled but the hassle has caused us to avoid using Baymont properties & Expedia as a whole since the event. Sorry to have this experience

The hotel had a kiosk you used to check in, get room keys and directions. No elevator in this 3 story motel. Smelled moldy in hallways and rooms. There were big bugs on the bed. Checked out and asked for a refund within 20 minutes of arrival!
