A beautiful forest (Södra Stenungsön) and peaceful beach (Hawaii badplats) near by the hotel. Everything else (shopping, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket, etc) is on the other side of the bridge, but still on reasonable walking distance.

Humans striving for perfection in Sweden!
Was part of a wedding party, however, we were never all together. Came and went as regular tourists. It was a stunning setting, breakfast was top rate!! Couldn’t get better! Very nice staff who were so eager to please. Worked hard at keeping place immaculate.

poor hotel with a good restaurant
Very disappointed with the stay. 1. The hotel advertised as a pet friendly dag. So I booked the hotel a long time ago and informed the hotel about we will bring a dog. There are extra charge for it, fair enough. However when we got there only to find out they don’t provide anything for the dog. They must remove pet friendly, as they are NOT. 2. Out of date, uncomfortable bed. 3. Extremely slow service at the reception even they have many staff there. But the restaurant/bar staff are very good, friendly people.

Good value for money
Perfect for a mini-getaway. Comfortable rooms, in-house restaurant and spa, and plenty of outdoor seating and sunlounging areas. The main bar was closed due to Covid-19, however a smaller kiosk was open at reception with the lobby providing ample seating. Walking distance to the town center for shopping and eating out, as well as public transport connections. Overall we had a lovely visit with only minor complaints: more pillows should be provided as standard and the bathrooms are probably due for an update.

Nice hotel at a nice spot
It's a good hotel where I tend to come back time after time. However, it starts to show sign of wear. Still clean and has a superb location overlooking the bay.

A great place to re-charge while visiting Sweden
I stayed two nights at the Yacht Club and found it to be a very nice property. It is a well known health spa for local Swedes and was quite full when I was a guest. The staff are very professional, the room was perfectly adequate and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Their gym and wifi was also very good. I did not utilize their extensive health spa services, but if one chose to stay there, they are certainly available. I also very much enjoyed access to the miles of beautiful walking trails near the hotel and Tjorn Island that was just across the bridge. A great place to recharge on the road if you are visiting Sweden.

Very good with nice views
Good as always, but the breakfast coffee still lets the buffet down. Slightly pricey on this occasion, as there was a conference on. Can never fault the service. Good solid option in the area, with great views of the bay.

NOT FAMILY-FRIENDLY!
Pros: - Very friendly staff - Very good restaurant Cons: - Our rooms - 515 & 516 - were directly under the area that became a club at night, so we were listening to thumpjng bass until 3am. While they were very accommodating about changing our room after the first night, they shouldn't put anyone in those rooms without warning - especially people with children. - One of the main reasons we chose to stay there was the pool. It was only after taking our daughter down there in her bathing suit that we were told it's adults-only except for summer and Swedish school holidays. We didn't know there were any restrictions (nothing was mentioned on hotels.com, which gave us a partial refund when we called them), and even if we had, we would have assumed Aug 17 was still summer, but apparently the hotel defines summer as ending only July 1 - Aug. 7. - The suite they moved us to was very nice but a number of the lights didn't turn on, and others didn't turn off (we didn't complain to the hotel about this because we'd already been at the desk so much).

Stopover by the bike path - over the bridge
Large hotel with plenty of seating in public areas. Relatively expensive dinner, with cheaper but limited options in the Kookaburra bar/cafe down near the water. Bicycles stored safely in luggage room.

great hotel, terrible breakfast coffee
Can't fault the stay. However the coffee at breakfast is terrible. For a hotel that has its own signature muesli, you'd expect to at least be able to get a decent cup of coffee to start your day. I would recommend a coffee machine that provides more than just thick black goo in 300ml portions. It won't stop me coming back, but I think we can do better..

Nice hotel but late party and noisy
Room location is everything at this hotel. There are obviously a lot of business conferences there and people stay up late througout the night, having parties. My room close to the entrance/reception was really bad, as the hotel staff did not calm the activities down, even at 02:00-03:00 they did go on outside the main entrance. I expect it is better eith a room located away from the reception as the hotel overall is really nice with a good breakfast, nice gym and spa etc.

Could not get me the room that i paid for
We arrived at the hotel and everything seemed great until i got the keys to our room. Paid for a deluxe room with one big bed with sea view, and received a room with two small beds and view of the back of a building/ garage. We went to the front desk and the staff stated that they could not get us the right room because they were at maximum occupancy. It was weird because the trip and the room were booked and paid for two months prior to us arriving. We were told by the front desk employee that they will make it right and to check on the following morning. On the following morning we did the same thing. We had to explain the situation to a different employee who had no idea of the issue. We were told to check later. We did and when we did we had to explain the situation to a third employee who again did not know anything about our issue. they said that they will contact us and never did regarding getting the room we paid for. Nobody contacted us and we never got the room we paid for. It seemed that the staff could not handle or care about the issue because we had to explain the situation 4-5 time to different employees and no one was able to resolve the issue or attempt to correct it. During check out we were told that we will be contacted regarding the issue in an attempt to give us credit at the hotel for future nights or to refund us money. Its been over a month now and no one has contacted us. Very poor customer service.

Nice hotel overlooking the sea
The hotel all in all is nice. We upgraded to the suite which was spacious, our only upset during our stay was that we felt the room cleanliness was not 4star deserving. But other than that, the staff are very friendly and the hotel is pretty cosy.

Wonderful hotel, design and view
The Place is wonderful! The nature is sublime near the hotel. You need to stay in a room with the ocean view. The room is large, with fine decorating and very very confortable. Wood, design and furniture is great too. So all the hotel is great, elegant and quite. We sure that we come back!

The light over my bed was not working and there was no pop up plug in the wash basin. On the second day after complaining the light was fixed and a pop up plug was put in the basin. However, the next time I used the basin the plug jammed and therefore it was impossible to drain the water! There were no toiletries in the bathroom. There were only wall mounted soap squeezers by the wash basin and in the shower. The curtains in the bedroom did not cut out all the light from outside. The self-service breakfast was rather poor. Guests had to collect their breakfast in one room and eat it in another. The coffee served can only be described as "industrial" and fairly tasteless. One cup was more than enough. There was a lack of fresh fruit. Cereal had to be eaten with a teaspoon and not a desert spoon. Although the hotel is in a great setting I cannot recommend it.

Restaurant menu needs more frequent changes!
Good rooms except for single racing class which are a little small. We have stayed there for 5 weeks in 3 months so we like it but the restaurant menu has remained unchanged in all this time. It is good but with only 5 main dishes it soon gets repetitive.
