Very beautiful, quiet location. Hotel is somewhat dated but we'll care for. The room was nice, but the bed was too hard for my tastes. Breakfast buffet was delicious, but only staffed by one worker, so refills were slow.

This is a very nice hotel. The courtyard was very nice with a lake. There was no coffee in the room, but there was complementary coffee in the lobby.

Super disappointed there was no cleaning in our 2 night stay. We had 1 towel in our room I asked for me and was told no. Toilet ran all night long.

Why the unnecessary hassle
I was a little disappointed in the hotel. I’ve stayed there in past and lived nearby so would meet friends there. It is amount the the most expensive hotels in St. Louis and would expect that level of performance. The bar personnel were friendly and efficient the desk people not so much. Check in went ok but when I got to the room I found the phone on the desk along wit the charger did not work. On my way to the bar I. Stopped and asked the desk to get it fixed and borrow a charger. The female clerk was not able to anything because they did not have a charger for my I phone but she would get maintainence to look at it. Got back from dinner and still no charger. Called desk and male clerk informed me that none of the chargers in the hotel worked but if I came down he would get me one. He was not able to have delivered. At your price level one would expect the hotel to inform you that the chargers don’t work and offer an alternative, at check in. Why the unnecessary hassle?

Everything we needed!
We were impressed with the safe location, friendly service, restaurant, easy parking and everything we needed for our stay! After a long drive, it was nice to get a meal without leaving the hotel, and we enjoyed our hamburgers. Maybe the rooms weren’t the most modern but everything was clean and of good quality. Would stay here again!

Room hot for two nights. The guy came the first morning when we returned late still hot in there. No towels available. I Wendy down stairs the clerk said I would get some never received them. I paid a lot and got very little.

We called prior to booking asking if we can check in before 3 clock, the gentleman who answered the phone at the front desk was so kind and said ok no problem if you check in after 12:30. When we arrived around 1:00 pm there was a woman at the front desk was very rude she kept saying no we can't check you in before 4:00 pm

All was good. Very clean, comfortable place. No in room coffee but that’s okay. Had a good, quiet nights sleep on a comfortable bed and a nice hot shower in a clean room. I’d recommend.

The property was nice and clean. My room looked clean and was comfortable. My only complaint was that I don’t think the a/c in my room was working properly. When I got to my room the thermostat was set to 60°, yet it still felt a bit warm. I was with two other travelers and visited both of their rooms and their rooms were nice and cool with their thermostats being set between 65 and 68, so there there had to have been an issue with mine. Also, in the middle of the night I woke up the the a/c making a loud rattling noise that prevented me from going back to sleep. It wasn’t even worth asking to switch rooms because upon arrival they told me they were completely booked, so I didn’t even bother trying.

Very good overall, but a tad noisy
Clean, decent room size & layout, comfortable bed. Wifi was acceptably fast (standard Marriott 15Mbps) and pretty reliable. Shower was a bit finicky to get the right temperature, but plenty of water pressure and temperature consistency. Very little noise from outside - just the pool really, which wasn't much of an issue on the 7th floor anyway - but the walls, ceiling, and door to the hallway were all pretty acoustically transparent. Not a huge amount of noise from them overall, but enough to be a little annoying.
