We were really excited to try out a new hotel for our first trip as a family. Staff was friendly and informative. Unfortunately, the room was disgusting. There were rings around the tub, the tub was patched with tape and cracked in two places. All of the dishes were dirty and had crusted food on them. The drawers had crumbs and dirt throughout all of them. All of the sheets (bed cover and main sheet) had numerous stains on them. We had high hopes for this place but we will not be staying at another Home2 again. Waste of our time and money.

The room was spacious and you could draw a curtain and divide the room. You had real plates and glassware. The common area was huge too. They have a fire pit in an outside seating area plus two gas grills.

Somehow my room assignment got messed up and someone ended up coming into my room at 1am. Which scared me and caused me so much anxiety the rest of the trip. I called the front desk to see what was going on and the guy hung up on me after putting me on hold. Went to front desk and he basically just laughed at my situation and was sarcastic the entire interaction. I called it a night and went back to bed. Thankfully the next morning another employee got it all fixed and was super nice. She apologized for the mix up and was very kind.

Staff members are great! Went beyond to be helpful. Disliked the limited parking. And free breakfast didn't have enough good! No fresh breakfast juices or fruits. No cereals. Just breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Very disappointed being that the hotel is next to a dispensary

Such a well placed hotel to easily get into downtown St Louis but right by Forest Park with its wonderful museums and open space. Walkable to the Metro as well and close to a lot of independent places to eat.

The staff was not helpful and we has to request cleaning of our room more than once. Someone set off the fire alarm and the staff were not trained on how to handle the event at all. The place is in a good location and the area was fine for walking.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was nice and clean. The pool is a bit small and busy, but there were plenty of towels. Breakfast was very busy and the breakfast area is very small so it took a while to get food, but the included meal was nice.

They need new mattresses. Plus cameras in every hallway. Somebody pulled the fire alarm on floors 3 & 4 at 4:00 in the morning. Everyone had to evacuate. The employees were great for the entire stay.

It requested us to check in online through the app and receive our room key right on our phone to remain contact-less.. but then you still have to go to the desk and finish checking in and show your ID. So the portion of checking in online seemed pointless. When we went to check in their system was down so we couldn’t get into our room which was inconvenient but no one’s fault. The room is great. Very spacious, clean, quiet. Good location. Would stay again!!

Home2 suites are incredibly convenient when traveling for days at a time with family. In the past at other locations we have been able to save money by making meals in the room. It was our intention to do the same this time around. It was one of the main reasons we specifically chose this hotel. Instead of saving we spent HUNDREDS extra on food. The staff is unorganized, dishes, cookware(bowls, spatulas, pots, pans, etc) are missing or unavailable. The only reason the hotel is as decent as it is, is because it’s newer and housekeeping is okay. When we tried to resolve issues such as bedding, towels, pots and pans it was a part time job!! Having to follow up again and again and again. Last night the fire alarm was pulled and they were incredibly disorganized about that situation too. If you’re here for a short time and not to save money by cooking - your stay should be decent. If you’re attempting to save money with their “full kitchen” bring your own cookware or skip the hotel all together.

Pro’s -The staff, location and room size were great. Cons- Our room was not clean upon arrival, the bathroom specifically was dated, had moldy caulk and hair from a previous user in the shower, I expect more from a hotel that cost this much.

First of all they gave us a room we walked in and there was somebody inside afterwards they gave us another room and they didn’t change the bedsheets. Somebody used it before us. We called them, and they came and changed the shades, and they said they were sorry, very unprofessional. I need somebody from Expedia to contact me please they give us some kind of points. They said they were sorry terrible experience. I think I was gonna go sleep in the car.

The stay was great and clean. Breakfast was really. When we 1st arrived the front desk lady was trying her best but the computer was having issues and then found out our room was not cleaned after waiting in line for about 10 minutes. We could not check in for another 30min to an hour. It was not the ladys fault behind the desk and she was very polite . I would stay there again but i think they need to make there check in system a little better.

The name of the hotel described the stay. It was literally like a second home. Utensils with plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and etc. The room were very clean and I loved how there was a pool. Me and my family had a ball. I also loved the self serve food and how I was able to make waffles this morning for me and the kiddos they enjoyed them and me as well.

Weekend getaway.
Just right for our needs. Nice suite, excellent firm king size bed, nice kitchenette, tv was very nice size and quality, very quiet location, included breakfast. Very close to Barnes Jewish hospital and the Hill.

Reliable hotel chain
We like the Home 2 suites STL/Forest Park because it is close to our family and there are lots of things to do nearby. The breakfast offers the usual pre-prepared eggs, breads, and breakfast sandwiches. Vanilla yogurt is nice to get and the waffles are good. Coffee is good. It is great to have a full sized refrigerator in the room. Not found of the bedding (the quilted blanket is too small). Mattress is comfortable, pillows LARGE. Good parking lot.
