"I feel the lodging was in line with the rooms price point. Room had a powerful smell that was a mix of cigarette smoke, marijuana, and sadness. There was a solid 1/4” of daylight coming through the entire doorframe top to bottom. I believe this structural flaw is what triggered the carpet to have a forever feeling of dampness. Lots of roaches. Cleaning service was less than ideal. It appeared they just came in and made the bed but didn’t actually clean anything. That cleaning was provided once in my 15 day stay. My room faced east facing the back end of a shopping center that stayed remarkably well lit at night. Room is equipped with cheap blinds no curtains so it remained really bright in the room at night. Easy fix was an eye mask. Pictures on ad are not accurate which is understandable given the state of this hotel. However I don’t like feeling tricked. Plus sides: fridge worked , AC worked , microwave although very small worked, water got hot , large easy parking , HEB right down the street. Very cheap. If all you need is a cheap bed for whatever reason this place will do. If you’re looking for the diamond in the rough hotel that has the 4 start experience for the one star price point your search continues cuz this ain’t it."

"Planned getaway from everyday living. The location was set back from traffic and clean to an extent. The room was clean and deodorized. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and filling, warm and plentiful. I didn’t have any pets, but there were pet friendly supplies and a park nearby. I will recommend and stay again when in the area."

"We stay here to celebrate our daughter elementary graduation, in the morning the forecast was rain and they offer us to use one if the meeting rooms for our daughter to celebrate with her friends! At the end of the day there was no rain and the keep their offer!!! The girls have a great time!!!"
