Great place for an econimical stay in Pinehurst area. Clean and neat, nice owners. Advertises breakfast incuded but VERY limited options, mostly mini-donuts, bread for toast and cereal. Regardless, would be happy to stay there again when in the area.

Concert stay
You would never know this was a budget hotel - it was taken care of like a Comfort Inn, or something higher up the hotel chain. I got a steal of a deal on this Econo Lodge, which I booked for the weekend as part of the Tailgates and Tallboys music festival. My bed was super comfy and hotel was super quiet. Staff was very clear about policies, which I appreciated. Breakfast area was very cute and had lots of food options. I felt super safe and would choose this hotel if I’m back in the area.

Econo Lodge Southern Pines is perfect for my needs. Visiting relatives in the area it's my go to Motel. Low priced, great parking, friendly owners. Just a great place with a great price.

There was a roach in my room that i noticed when i went to use the microwave. Then was asked to pay extra for my children. When i explained to office i put it in there when i did my reservation and even put the ages sorry my kids are tall as dad is over 6ft. She told me next time to make sure they are in there if you use 3rd party for reservations i ened up not paying extra when i explained myself. And the ages she told ok nevermind

A good bargain hotel to stay at
The Facility is nice. Not too many items in the breakfast selection. Only 1 Vending Machine with no Diet Drinks. Ice Machine works great! I would stay here again.

We have stayed there many times. No issues. This time we had to pay $25 a night because we have an emotional support Boston Terrier. Never had to pay before. Our Boston Tater tot is cleaner than a lot of people. ALSO quieter. She does not slam doors half the night. Took her to go potty, nothing but fire ant piles.. NOT A STAY FOR US AGAIN!!

By law we are allowed to charge for an emotional support animal and as for the fire ants they have been taken care of. Sorry for your inconvience.

Staff was rude and unprofessional. Just realized they charged me $50 on card for deposit 3 days after checking out. This was after the deposit was held in cash and returned. Only after I had left property she then charged without my knowledge. Don’t stay at this property.

The 50.00 wasn't for deposit that was charged on you card . It was your pet fee which was 25 per pet per night.

Econo Lodge Southern Pines suits my needs perfectly. Quick access to Route 1. Nice facility at a very reasonable rate. No frills, I stay here 4 or 5 times a year when passing through the area. If that's all you require then you can't go wrong.

Disappointed and should have gone with Microtel.
Fake positive reviews. This place is really not kept up well. Booked 3 rooms. Two of them face West when we checked in and the room temp was 90 degrees. Turned AC on and had to leave rooms. One room AC had problems. All 3 rooms did cool off around 10pm. Guess next door were really loud and that’s not the motel’s fault. Not much to breakfast. Shared concerns with manager and he was super nice. Didn’t think it was worth the costs to stay. The Microtel close by is a better option for around the same rates.
