Lovely traditional hotel with a lovely restaurant- The Garden Room The South Moravian Soup was mouthwatering We shall return to see our distributors next year and stay here!!

Well positioned hotel, handy for station and trams, beautifully refurbished, with excellent restaurant. Maybe the corridor carpets were a bit thick for wheeling suitcases.

Brno stay
Superb hotel very close to the main railway station and trams. Easy to get around the city from there, and if you like to just get up and go in the morning its perfect.

Would Definitly Stay Here Again!
This hotel is really great and the rooms are better than the photos, I think. It's right across from the train station, and you can walk to all the historic sites very easy from it. The room was big with a comfortable bed, nice bedding, and a wonderful, old-time marble bathroom. Lots of space in the bathroom to set things, and a big bathtub plus shower combo. The windows fully open in both bathroom and bedroom for fresh air, and the room was very quiet. Great restaurant downtstairs and good value for breakfast. They also have a really nice private sauna you can reserve. I wish they would spruce up the historic bar with music, lighting, and a later closing time (closed at 9 PM) to make it more inviting.

It was challenging to park the car due to limited space at the front of the hotel. Once I paid upfront for the parking for the entire stay, I was informed that it might be that I will not get a spot due to the insufficient amount of spots for the guests, but I can park next to that reserved space and pay additionally the other owner of the rest of the parking. It is highly inappropriate that the guests who are required to pay for the parking spots are not guaranteed the space for their cars for the entire stay.

Dear Lukas, you must have misunderstood the parking situation, all of the guests who have paid for the parking have the parking spots reserved for the duration of the stay, the parking spots are marked with the numbers 42 til 56 and you dont always get the same number, its any of the numbers between 42 an 56. The reserved and parked guests receive our parking vouchers which need to be placed inside the car on the dashboard, there are only 15 of them so its not true that somebody told you to park somewhere else and pay again to someone else. The property was conveniently located near the train station and the old town area. Everything was in walking distance. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent.

Front desk is kind enough. Room is just renovated and very clean. I used off site parking, where is just cross the street, cost was just 2 euro until Friday 6:00pm then it was free for week end, which is quite acceptable.

The hotel is across from the main train station and bus station. It's easy to walk around the city center. Breakfast options are great. I highly recommend this hotel. We will stay here again when coming back to Brno.

Still keeping some of its past glory. Close to bus and train station which is good if you will use that to your next destination but also means you might find it a bit rough outside the hotel doors. Room was far down the corridor which meant extra stairs on that floor (odd design and not nice with heavy luggage) and meant internet was very weak. Had to go stand in the hallway to get decent signal.

First rate hotel - a bit rough around the edges
In general, my stay was good. However, management needs to adopt international concepts of customer service. When a problem comes up in a 4 or 5 star hotel, the only acceptable response is a simple apology and a promise of a prompt resolution. My issue was resolved but only after endless messaging, excuses qnd even a bit of arguing.

Whatever you do, do not eat at the hotel. Food was terrible and way overpriced. Many excellent restaurants are within walking distance. Hotel is run down from what I remember 20 years ago. To be fair they say they are renovating.

Our stay at grand hotel brno was amazing , staff was very cooperative and friendly , hotel was near to all amenities and is at walking distace from train station and other forms of transport..Rooms are spacious and well isolated. and the beds are comfortable. Would definitely want to stay here in future.

There was no water in WC. So, I had to use common washroom which was located on ground floor. Service was good but only disappointment was the WC.
