The hotel is very nice and I loved the decoration, however the customer service is not at the level of a 4 stars hotel and especially of a Marriot hotel.
I purchased 2 bedrooms of 3 people each, when we arrived at the check in counter the gentleman kept on insisting we had 3 bedrooms, I showed him the voucher which specified 2 bedrooms. He kept on insisting and told me that the rooms were already paid for so why not to use it. I said ok and I split my family in 2 people for each room.
After 30 minutes we were in the room, the reception called me to tell me that I had to pay for the 3rd room. I argued with the guy that he did confirm the 3 rooms were paid for, he admitted his mistake and he said he would have loose money from his salary if I stayed in the room and not pay for it.
We had the option to leave 1 room and put an extra bed in each room. As the kids had already use the beds I accepted to stay in the third room as I felt bad for the guy and I paid the extra 80 Usd (the room with hotels.com cost me Usd 55 so much less that what they were charging me!!!).
I told the guy that I was keeping and paying for the 3rd bedroom which he confirmed it was already paid and that in exchange he could offer a drink to compensate the mistake they did.
I went downstairs to pay for the room and have a drink.
The following morning at check out I was asked to pay for the drink!!!
I had to explain the entire story to 3 different people (also the manager) and still I had to pay for it.
