We really enjoyed our stay at the Limak and were pleased to find many shops, bars, cafes and restaurants located right next door to the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Long Island ice teas at the hotel bar were delicious! The only slight issue was that the weather in Skopje was a beautiful, 28°C everyday, and the Aircon in the room was not able to compete! Despite being on and programmed to get the room down to 15°C, the entire time we were there the room stayed at 25°, it made for uncomfortable nights which is a shame because the bed itself was great! I'm sure there is something wrong with the AC. Failing this, it was a great overall stay. The Sky Bar on the top floor does not yet seem to be in operation, so we didn't get to experience this.

This seems like a very new property. Attached to new Diamond Mall. A quick 10-minute walk to central square in Skopje. Overall, nice rooms, great value for a 5-star property. Just fyi... Sky Bar wasn't open yet but restaurant had good service.

Good hotel that is a short walk to the centre, would recommend, the only odd thing was the rock hard cookie they give you on check-in but that’s a rather minor detail, would recommend

Wonderful hotel (and a cautionary tale of laundry)
Loved this hotel, and all it had to offer. Staff were wonderful. Food great. Room super clean and comfortable. My cautionary tale is about laundry. I filled out the form, placing 7 t-shirts (3 short sleeve, 4 long sleeves, all cotton) and 7 underwear in the bag. I calculated it would be about $35. When it came back the next day I noticed a new form had replaced the one I submitted, with changed made. My 4 long-sleeve t-shirts were reclassified as more expensive items -"pullovers." I could accept that, even though all other hotels had classified them as t-shirts. There was other writing in other columns, but I assumed things were OK until I was checking out, and found I'd been charged $70. What happened is that I made an honest mistake and checked the column to the right instead of the left. Hotel services then --without consulting me -- not only washed but dry/cleaned and pressed my clothes. I have attached the forms for readers to see. I have been in management, and would have erred on the side of the customer's honest mistake (I mean $70 to wash 7 undies and 7 t-shirts)? So, I'll always remember this hotel as the most expensive laundry I've ever used... and want my experience to be a cautionary tale for other travelers.

Limak website states that service dogs stay free of charge. We have a registered service dog with all the necessary paper work and ID, despite this the hotel charged us over $ 36 for one night stay. Almost 50% of the fee for the whole night. Legal robbery ! Also our room, with "mountain view" faced an ugly construction site. Never again in this hotel

AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Extremely rude, disinterested and unprofessional staff running this as a hotel. We had booked a two room JUNIOR SUITE for a two night stay for 3of us. The aircon was non functional and our repeated requests to Matej at reception until 2AM late night/early morning was futile. One bedroom had some fresh air incoming from the so we requested for a rollaway bed or floor mattress so my son could sleep on the floor with us. Matej promised to send it but nothing ever came and our reminder to him resulted in him rudely telling us that he cannot do anything as he is alone and he has already reported matter to the hotel GM. My son slept on a blanket placed on the floor with a pillow. The promised change of room the next day,did not happen nor was the aircon fixed so we slept again without the aircon. To our shock and horror we found bathroom toiletries that were manufactured in 2018 and early 2019 & out of date with the dates roughed/gouged out. The breakfast spread was alright but fruit was rotten,bruised and something that you would throw in the garbage bin. Upon check out the hotel insisted we pay although our stay was prepaid with hotels.com and my receipt clearly stating so. The staff Nina was extremely rude and will hear nothing and threatened us that we cannot leave without paying. The GM while sympathetic,eventually maintained that we had to pay for one night as Hotels.Com had offered us one night waiver.Not wanting to ruin our holiday further we paid and left. Worst experience

Absolutely rotten and unfit for consumption fruit at breakfast buffet.

Teleurstellend alhoewel splinternieuw !
Nieuw hotel. Maar… ik had een rustige kamer gevraagd en kreeg er een langs de drukke straatzijde. Geen glazen op de kamer ( hoe uw tanden poetsen ? ). Alles te scannen via een qr code. Dus alleen voor smartphone houders toegankelijk ( ook de menu in het restaurant ). Huurauto stond geparkeerd op de hotel parkeerplaats. Maar op een avond was die verdwenen. Men had die op bevel van de politie weg gesleept !! Uit veiligheidsoverwegingen zonder mij te verwittigen !!! Heel veel miserie om die terug te krijgen.

Skulle vara ett lyxhotell. Det enda som kändes lyxigt var gymmet som bestod med vatten på flaskor och handdukar. Rummet kändes inrökt och luktade illa. Personalen visste inte vart det fanns varken apotek eller super marker när vi frågade dem. Smidigt att kunna parkera i källaren, ok hotell frukost.

Fantastiskt bra service vid incheckning av Ivan och Petar. Rätt personer för sitt jobb oerhört professionella. Däremot dåligt bemötande vad gäller restaurang. Hade vid bokningen kontaktat för att informera om att vårt barn är glutenintolerant och att vi önskade att det fanns något glutenfritt alternativ med bröd eller flingor vid frukost. Ringde även två dagar innan för att försäkra om det och fick svar att det skulle finnas både bröd och flingor. När vi checkade in kvällen före försäkrade de även att så var fallet. På morgonen fanns varken bröd eller flingor men de informerade om att det fanns frukt och pålägg som var glutenfritt, extremt dåligt och inkompetent från personalen i restaurangen.

Service can be improved
The hotel is beautifully designed and contains everything you expect a five star hotel should. The neighborhood is probably going to be a very nice area after the construction work is done. Unfortunately we had to ask for glasses two times (in two days) and eventually we received glasses for the last night. It’s not very five star stay in a suite drinking your drinks in coffee cups…
