Great location! Easy to walk to the city center and many things to do around the hotel with great restaurants just meters away. The breakfast is very good! And the morning staff went above and beyond. There is a man who works at the desk at night who was rude and was not helpful at all and would not help answer my questions or help me at all. That is unfortunate because all of the other front desk staff was exceptional. They helped give tips about Sirmione and even Verona. Rooms are a bit small but overall a good stay and amazing location on the lake.

"Awful !!!!!" because you were, rightly as per policies, asked to pay extra for the dog you were bringing with you.As our private message:Dogs are welcome on request, so they must be indicated at the time of booking. There is a supplement of 20 per night. Only 1 dog per room is allowed.We have accepted to host you, even though you have hidden the dog at check-in. You refused to pay the surcharge and for this you have contacted Expedia to resolve.But still we had no objection, except that you would have to pay the supplement. It was then up to you to discuss it with Expedia.You have literally escaped, without any explanation, from the hotel. We had to chase you to get the keys to the room as you left with your suitcases and keys.Best regards,The hotel management

The staff we very friendly and incredibly helpful. A lovely little stay and only a pleasant 20 min bike ride into the main town centre. We would stay here again

Overall a good stay
Hotel staff and restaurant on site were excellent. Hotel is very clean, great views of the lake, and a few places to eat. Is a bit of a walk into the town and no elevator so was a bit of a pain lugging suitcases 3 flights of narrow staircases.

Nice hotel right by the Lake.
Nice hotel by Lake Garda. Very quiet area in a great location close to a shuttle service to the Castle and shops and parks.

Perfect little hotel at beautiful location
We stayed at Hotel Ca'Serena for 3 nights in April.Our room/s (family room which consists of 2 joined rooms and a bathroom) was spacious, clean and perfectly located. There was a lovely patio just outside the building which we used as well.The area is quite and safe, perfect for families.The hotel staff were kind and helpful.

A wonderful surprise and friendly family ownership
Went for work but had lots of fun running into the historic part of Sirmione, biking there in the evening for a drink. During the day I could take a quick break and swim in the lake 50 feet from my door

All round Great
Staff were fantastic, the location is a nice 20 min walk into Sirimonie (which is full of bars, restaurants & shopping. Stunning place) along the lake. Nearby are a couple of breakfast / lunch & dinner places. The view of the lake was beautiful. They hire bikes too (8 euro for a day).

very nice hotel pleasant stay but for two elderly people without a car a little too far to walk into sirmione every day. we did do it but found it very tireing.

Excellent family hotel w/ a/c & free parking
This hotel worked out perfectly for me & my family (2 adults, 2 kids). First let me say that we had just come from the JW Marriott in Venice & often stay at 5 star resorts on vacation. So I was surprised at how much I liked this hotel. It's not 5 star plush but it's clean, modern, comfortable & friendly. The pros for us were: (1) we had a 2 bedroom apt w/ 2 queen beds that gave us lots of space -- most hotels in Europe can't accommodate 4 people; (2) the air conditioning worked fabulously, which we needed b/c it was over 100F/30C every day; (3) parking was included; & (4) there's lots to do in the area -- could walk to beach from hotel or could drive up to town just a mile away. The staff were so nice & helpful, they made restaurant ressies for us & gave us all the info we needed about local attractions. Again, not normally my kind of hotel but it worked out so great for us and was a bargain at about $200/night.

Lovely week in Ca Serena
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. I find it hard to believe you could find more pleasant or more helpful staff in the whole of lake Garda than here. It's a small hotel with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. Monica, the receptionist, really went out of her way to be helpful and ensure our stay was as pleasant as it could be. The location is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. It has the local bus stop and the Brescia to Verona bus stops at the top of the road which is ideal start to a days exploring. If I was to complain it would be that there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and according to my wife, the hair drier was a touch asthmatic . That said I would recommend this to any couple looking for a welcoming stay in sirmione.

Typisch für den Urlaub in dieser Region. Es war alles wie erwartet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Das Haus ist sehr laut. Und wenn Kinder, kleine Kinder um 23.00 Uhr noch ihren fröhlichen Dingen nachgehen, dann um so mehr. Die Betreiber des Hotels waren sehr nett.

Sirmione best hotel?
Ca Serena was one of the best hotels visited. Extremely friendly and the best service. Very familiar and in a nice area. We will for sure visit again.

Tolle Lage direkt am See, Frühstück draussen mit Blick aufs Wasser. Super! Angenehmes Haus mit zuvorkommendem Personal. Leider hat das Haus keinen Lift und wir waren im 3. Stock direkt unter der Dachschräge (im Hotel als "Penthouse" bezeichnet. Die Treppen waren relativ eng und steil und für uns als nicht mehr ganz junge Personen war das etwas anstrengend. Ebenfalls waren im Dach nur kleine Kippfenster vorhanden (wenig Licht im Zimmer). Wir werden das Hotel beim nächsten Mal wohl nicht als erstes aussuchen, aber definitiv als Alternative in Betracht ziehen. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefühlt.

Sehr freudliche Mitarbeiter, alles wie beschrieben, Zimmer nicht besonders schick aber gute Matratze und alles sauber. Vom Frühstücksraum toller Blick über den See. Gute Lage, viele Restaurants zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück hätte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können, was aber vielleicht auch daran lag, dass Buffet während Corona nicht erlaubt war.

Top hotel voor een betaalbare prijs. Netje en schoon. Zeer aardig personeel. Gewoon een aanrader. Groot gezamenlijk balkon met uitzicht over het Gardameer. Hier kun je je eigen drinken meenemen, maar is ook een bar aanwezig.

Lovely little gem with beautiful view over lake.
Very welcoming hotel with great and friendly staff. They also have parking and it is bit further away but still within walking distance. Lovely walk and the hotel has a great view over the Garda lake. We would definately come and stay here again.
