“Good Value for Money”

The best way to describe this hotel is "Good Value for Money". the hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The room was very clean unlike any other budget hotels. its located in the center of the city so if you are planning your activities around Santosa island then it would require you to take Taxi (Expensive - about 15 SGP-Dollars) or train (about 5 minutes walk and cost 4 or 5 SGP-Dollars per person). i would reccomend this hotel to trabvellers who are planning a short trip to singaspore and would normally be out and about during the day.

“Great hotel in fantastic location”

My girlfriend and I enjoyed 4 nights stay at the hotel in late March '09. On checking in, we were pleasantly surprised to learn we had been upgraded to a refurbished room on the 9th floor. It wasn't the biggest room we've stayed in but it was still very comfortable and clean, with a great walk-in shower. We had a lovely view of the City skyscrappers and could see the spire to St Andrews Church to our left and Orchard Road to our right. The hotel staff were very helpful and even let us use the pool shower facilities, even though we had already checked out and our flight was just after midnight.

We did not use the hotel restaurant but it looked impressive, clean and great selection of different cuisine. The rooms were cleaned every day even though we were not out of our rooms until noon! We were not disturbed by hotel staff once we had the privacy sign on. The hotel is located bang in the middle of all interesting places; Little India, China Town, Clarke quays, Boat Quays, Site tours are also booked from the hotel. Picked up and drop off from the hotel. 7/11 and money exchanger are just a minute away. Good Italian, Indian restaurants and cafe/bar within the hotel complex. Alcoholic drinks v.expensive except for during happy hours, buy jugs of beers and will work out cheaper!

“Will be happy to return anytime”

Very happy with the hotel and its staff. I stayed for 6 days and enjoyed each one.

Upgrading to a club room in this hotel was the best thing we did, saving $70 singapore dollars every day on breakfast, all our soft drinks and evening drinks were included, room was a little on the small side, and storage space was not very good, as we had travelled from Brisbane we had quite a few clothes and only a small wardrobbe to accomodate everything, no drawer space at all. Staff were extremely helpful, the only problem we had was the noise as they are busy renovating parts of the hotel, building work was during the day, even at weekends, so a peaceful dip in the pool was out of the question. This was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in over the last few years and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Singapore.

“Lovely modern and bright hotel”

We really enjoyed our stay in this modern hotel. The location was perfect, located so close to the shopping street, Orchard Road. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly. The gentleman in the diningroom was not friendly, maybe because we came down to breakfast ten minutes before it was to finish.

“Quality Hotel”

As I was travelling to Singapore on Business for the first time I was a little unsure of exactly where to stay, after looking through various options I decided on the Rendezvous Hotel and I am really glad I did. Positioned towards the end of Orchard road within close proximity to both Raffles and Clarke Quay this hotel was ideally situated. I went for the upgraded Plaza Club room which included complementary wifi, telephone calls and free drinks in the club lounge between 6 and 8. Well worth the extra

“Great hotel for the price...”

Staff were very helpful and attentive. The room we had was newly refurbished and very nice. Eating in the hotel was expensive, there was a mall close by with good food at a reasonable price. We will go back to Singapore and we would use this hotel again.

“fabulous hotel”

The Rendezous is still being refurbished but the room we had was excellent, only thing it lacked was a bath. Bed was enormous. Hotel is in great location, very close to Orchard Road and the Doby Ghaut MRT station from where you can go nearly anywhere in Singapore.

This is an extremely, friendly and co-operative hotel and very well placed for central Singapore.
