3 Night Stay at Plush Pods
Chose this hostel as it was really close to MTR station (half a block) and downtown which was convenient as I was going to the Singapore GP. Bugis Junction is close by for shopping and eating. Lots of choices when it comes to restaurants and there are 7-11s nearby for water and other snacks. The bed was firm, pillow kind of soft for my liking but your pod has a little medicine like cabinet that you can lock and store items as well as a light and two outlet plug for charging your electronics. Very convenient . There is also a drawer under the lower bunks to securely store your backpack and small luggage cases. Hair dryers can be rented as well as towels. Plush Pods also sell soda and water in reception. The washrooms are unisex and combo toilet/showers. They were not the most modern but did the job. The place is really secure and you need to be buzzed in by reception or scan your room key to get through the front door and get on the elevator. Wi-Fi can be spotty at times and is not a strong signal but there is free Wi-Fi. Good place to stay if you only need a place to sleep and shower since I spent most of my time out and about.

Not so worth but good location
We booked triple room but never shown is additional rollaway bed, not comfortable and make room become small. always can hear the noise outside, not good in sound insulation, bathroom and toilet separate but toilet very small, if big size body, then cannot enter. Air con not cold , looks like long time no service.

We booked triple room but the booking never shown is rollaway bed, uncomfortable, it make room become small. Breakfast a bit funny that only have biscuit and milk. Only the location very good, near to MRT and for food.

Perfect Location Good For A Short Stay
Apart from the fantastic location of the hotel, which is just 200m away from Bugis Junction, I don't have much to boast about the hotel. I think this is mainly because my room mates (all girls bunk) was occupied with what seemed to be permanent residents! They would talk loudly till late!. They are mostly occupying the bottom bunk as well. Good point though: The ladies bunk share a single locked bathroom/toilet, across the room and accessible by a key. The dorms is also accessible by a pass card only. As such, you won't be sharing with the other dorms. The space is kinda small in the room (with about 8 beds in there I think) and there was a dressing table in the corner and a long mirror behind the door. A locker below the bed (can be daunting if you're in the top bunk!) a foldable table & another small locker beside your bed. Plug points are also right beside you. Great staff I must say! I am unable to comment on breakfast or the common area as I did not utilise it. I will come back here if I have to stay just for the night but not any longer than that. Bring your own towel and toiletries!

Avoid at all costs
They didn't have my booking. They didn't give me a room (which was on my expedia booking) but a pod, for the same price as a room. They didn't tell me they didn't have my booking. They tried to charge me more than the expedia booking. They didn't give me two beds initially as on my expedia booking, but only one pod. When I got into my pod (instead of a room!), the room light was permanently on in front of my pod -- directly in front of my feet. I didn't stay here though and moved hotels immediately. Since they didn't give me a room, there was no way I could have slept here. They didn't even inform me that they didn't have my booking, but tried to get me for all of it, despite not giving me what I had booked.

Dorm Room were very hot and early check out is not an option so had to hand key the night before therefore had to sleep with luggage as couldn't lock up. $30 refundable key deposit had to be paid on check in

Sadly nothing plush about it
The toilets/showers are probably one of the worst I've seen in a while. The room trash bin was left to overflow for 3+ days. The sheets, as far as I can tell, were being replaced regularly, but the floors/toilets weren't being cleaned regularly. The receptionists were incredibly helpful and friendly though. I've been to other, much cheaper hostels in SG, and they are in far better condition (eg., The Hive). It's a shame because the location of this hostel is near everywhere. Hope they could improve things.

Great location. Staff were amazing.
Stayed in a private room. But hard to get up the spiral staircase with suitcase but fantastic room. Great hotel.

Worst place ever
The worst place ever.I stayed there for 5 days in a standard room with one double bed. I don't usually use the superlative term but this place is simply the worst ever. Room was so dirty; the bedding sheet was already dirty and stained when I first got there; also, I have to clean the bathroom by myself on arriving. Not only the room quality but also the service quality was incredible low! One of the staffers cleaned a storage room, which happened to be next door, making noises, after midnight. Wifi signal is weak in the room so I ended up signing up for overseas data program. Also, considering the extra charge even for the towel, it is NOT inexpensive at all. Above all, what made me to write this review is their attitude; the reception desk closes from the night to early morning but the receptionist did not inform me when check-in. During the check-in, they told me to put some deposit($50) but I couldn't retrieve it when check-out as the desk was closed(at 7am). A month later, after a few email-reminders on my end, they finally sent me my money, and I only got $35. To sum up, don't stay here.

Comfortable Stay
Location is the best . Just next to a big mall and fashion street , transport too . The stay was good as the staff were super friendly . Checking in was fast and easy. reasonably clean and good thing the wifi connection is right in the room . Standard Room size is good enough I find it cute . There are tables and hangers and even power source right next to the bed . Important ! Have drawer with lock too :D For the price and convenience , I am very satisfied :D oh and air conditioner is excellent :D

NEGATIVES - The stay in the 20 Share room PODS was o.k. Beds where comfortable enough although the Air conditioning was only operating during 8pm to 8am, meaning you are inside a sweat box in the pod, if resting there during the day. The Mens showers where cramped for the usage as 2 out of 3 cubicles have a Toilet in them as well, a bit unhygienic in the sense that water sprays onto it and then runs down onto the small area you have to shower in. The PLUMBING needs to be fixed as drains in the MENS showers block up at times. POSITIVES - KATIE (KITTY), DANNA and LIU YANG where EXCEPTIONAL hosts as all info required from them came with a SMILE. Keep up the great work people. Thanks for all your help during my stay, much appreciated, look forward to staying with you again in the future. Location as mention by others reviewing is fantastic, door step close to the BUGIS MRT, and surrounding shopping malls, 7-11 store down the road, handy for BEERS ( 10 o"clock SOMEWHERE in the WORLD right ? ), Fantastic restaurants/ hawkers in the same street and others close by. Enjoyed the great food and shopping here. Thanks again STAFF.

Perfect for a couple of nights
The staff at the hostel were very nice and easygoing, but the rooms could have been cleaner. At a glance everything looked clean, but when you looked closer there were spiderwebs and a thick layer of dusk. I think they have a ruine where some places are simply never included. The location was great. A little hard to find at first, but there is a big sign that helped us find it. Everything in Singapore is walking distance so this location is ideal.

Quiet Hostel living in the perfect location
I stayed in Singapore for 4 days and this was a great location. Within easy walking distance of just about everything you want to see and do in Singapore. Plus, you'll never go hungry with all of the restaurants and food markets nearby! And you'll need it since 'breakfast' consists of white toast, jam and coffee. But the living areas are clean, the bathrooms have a female only option, and the wifi is strong. So all in all a good pick.

For the amount of money I've paid I can't expect regal accomodation. All in all it's well worth the experience with a fantastic and special service from the staff. The location is great which is nearby the MRT Bugis and all that Bugis has to offer.

Stay here if you want a great location to stay at on a budget in Singapore. Real close to the metro station and comfortable enough to sleep at. Their bathrooms are so-so, but you will be fine if you're not too fussy.

From the photos this place looks like its a capsule hotel, but it's just a hostel with extremely flimsy blinds between the beds, and the window blinds are the same so don't imagine you're going to be able to sleep in. Shared bathrooms don't lock and are always wet so changing after a shower is nesedlessly difficult. Get a real hotel!

Cheap for a reason
I've stayed in plenty of backpackers over the years, but never 'pods'. I had a much different impression of these, this place was basically a budget backpackers. Nothing special, but it was relatively clean and normal. I feel bad complaining about this but felt it was relevant to potential clients. I had to pay a cash deposit at check-in, which was refundable at check out. The reception was closed 1-7 AM and my flight was at 6, but I was told I could turn my key in early before I went to sleep and get my refund. Reception was empty at 10 PM, apparently due to a family emergency (I know emergencies happen and I hope it is all well now). Long story short, it was over 2 hours until a replacement came to reception. Problems: 1. There was no note or any indication something was wrong, just no one there at reception. 2. The owner had released the employee to leave upon request (that's a good thing), but she didn't organize any replacement (problem). 3. The owner waited over an hour after I started waiting to call the front desk (it was obvious she has access to the surveillance cameras). She asked me to look for the other staff on site, who were there but didn't come forward or answer the door when I knocked; they also saw me waiting at reception but pretended to be guests there.

Great place, new and nice!
I really liked the area and I would stay again. I had a private room and bathroom with the shower. Nice hot water. Air con works well. TV is large flat screen. Everything is as expected. The room was just fine for solo. The breakfast you do yourself as it is toast and then select jam or butter, That's basically it. Oh don't forget to wash you dish! There is a cash deposit until you check out. Can be money from America or Singapore, but it must be cash, appx, $60 so have it ready at check-in. There is a shopping mall and a market right on the next street. Mall food and good restaurants are all there, as well as on Baker Street. And the Metro is across the street, easy to get to the airport by Metro- direct green line. If movies are your thing on a rainy day, recent releases are also at the near-by mall.

Best, cheap and affordable place in the whole singapore. Hotel staff is very friendly, and willing to help. You get ur own privacy as the beds have blinds so that you can close. Place is near bugis mrt.

I stayed in the room for 3 persons; one queen bed and one single bed. it's okay but doesnt have much space. the blanket for the extra bed is so thin. small room but good location. about 10 minutes to Marina area by taxi. there are many buses passed around the hostel location. some staff is friendly but some is not.

It was fine, Clean and friendly. If all you want is a bed for an overnight stay and you don't mind sharing then I doubt you will find better for the price. If you want a 5* suite then what are you doing?

Nice staff. Has Locker. Easy to access. But, Deposit too expensive ($30). Room wasn't being swept. Dirty bathroom, can't wash clothes. Only one computer available. Standard breakfast (bread, tea, coffee and biscuit). Decided to move to another hostel at the next day.

環境算是熱鬧地段 地鐵超近
我覺得按鈴這部分讓我很感到納悶, 因為寄放行李無提供感應卡片, 所以需要按鈴但在按鈴時都沒有人 但打電話會會接,並會盡快為你開門, 就算是下午五點也需要按鈴等差不多快20分鐘. 廁所有出現一小隻蟑螂, 櫃台人員很好的幫忙打死, 如果還是會怕的人需要好好思考是否入住

-โรงแรมใกล้รถไฟฟ้า ทางออก D -ไม่มีพนักงานทำความสะอาดในระหว่างที่เราเข้าพัก -ตอนกลางคืนมีเสียงรถดังมาก รวมถึงมีเสียงคนคุยกันเสียงดัง เนื่องจากใกล้ๆกันมีคลับให้คนมา drink -พนักงานเค้าเตอร์ดูเหมือนมีเพียงคนเดียวที่สามารถแก้ปัญหาได้ แต่ดูมีความพยายามช่วยเหลือเราทุกคน -ห้องเล็กมาก

Hotel céntrico en Singapur
El hotel está muy bien ubicado, céntrico, aproximadamente 40 min caminando a todas las atracciones del lugar, Marina Bay, Little India, Chinatown y museos. Los baños son incómodos, por tener las regaderas con el WC a un lado, se riega toda el agua. Desayuno justo por el precio.
