I would love to give 5* but somehow for no reason they will keep open the main door of the hotel and all the mosquitoes are in to sleep with you. Hope the management will take care of it.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Crown. The hotel is well located and not overpriced. The room we booked, a double with balcony actually had two balcony's, it was clean and well presented with good aircon. We used the sky bar and the pool bar both were good with reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast was a Khmer and Western buffet with the usual freshly cooked "egg station" really high quality. What made the hotel special was the staff, they were great, always polite and charming. We stay in Siem Reap often and this is the best "mid-priced" hotel that we have stayed in and will definitely stay again.

Not only does the Royal Crown Hotel have a certain colonial charm, but the personnel was also very helpful and accommodating. We were happy to return to this calm and cool haven after a day of visiting temples in Siem Reap and to enjoy a lovely meal. This hotel is exceptional in my opinion....

What I liked most was the very courteous staff and their generous assistance with every request. What I didn’t like was not the hotel’s issue....it was the lack of a decent walking path to the market and Pub Street.

The Royal Crown was the most fabulous hotel in Siem Reap. French colonial architecture and furnishings, two pools, spa services, extremely helpful staff, most English speaking. They arranged our private tours to Angor Wat in advance. Location is perfect, only 3 blocks from central old town market, Pub Street lined with restaurants and all the other activities in the center of Siem Reap. I actually hated to leave. Rooms are spacious, some with balconies. The costs of spa services so reasonable. Dont miss this charmer.

Comfortable hotel 5 mins from old market
Pleasant stay though the hotel is old for the price paid. we had a very big room on the top 5th floor with separate living room area which was nice. Downside is there was loud music from the rooftop bar in the night till abt 11pm. We were given a later check-out at 1pm (normal is 12pm) and staff were very keen we left on the dot of 1pm.

Good hotel
Lovely hotel, clean, well located, pools were nice. Staff helpful is you have questions. We were in the fifth floor and under the rooftop bar so there was a lot of noise at night with tables and chairs being moved and then put away at the end of the night

Great Location
We stayed here in March 2018 and loved the location of this hotel. There are many restaurants very close and a convenience store directly across the road. Hard Rock Cafe is just down the road and it is a short walk across the bridge into the main part of Siem Reap. We only needed to arrange transport when we wanted to go to the temples etc and the Tuk Tuk drivers near the hard rock were great to organise this with. The room was clean, however the bed a little hard for my taste, the staff were fantastic as well throughout our stay. I would recommend for sure.

The room and staffs are excellent. But one thing, pick-up shuttle need to improve...the driver was late for appointment time and the car was not clean. We found few cockroaches inside it.

Staff were very friendly, and always smiling. Very helpful as well. Front desk was very quick responding to requests. Breakfast selection was pretty wide. The room's AC did not work well the first day but it was fixed quickly enough. The hotel, as a whole, was clean. We didnt get a chance to try the in-house spa massage though. The hotel lift is a little slow but otherwise, its okay. We requested for a smoking room on booking but was given a non smoking room on check in so that was a tad inconvenient.

Nice hotel close to city centre
The hotel staff were always friendly and courteous. They were very helpful in organising daily activities and transport when requested. The only negative aspect to our overall experience was the that the bed was a bit uncomfortable (two singles pushed together).

Staff was great - friendly, spoke English, extremely helpful. Room was very clean and well-appointed. It's not a luxury hotel - pretty simple, 2 pools are small etc. but great value and staff takes a lot of pride in what they do. Hotel helped us map out best schedule for 3 days in Angkor Wat and arranged tuk-tuk for us as well as taking care of other travel details. Delicious, fresh breakfast,

Excellent, friendly and helpful staff, very convenient location, a few minutes walk to the Pub Market/ Old Market Area and maybe a 15-20 min drive on a TukTuk to Angkor Wat Rooms are spacious; no ironing kit in the rooms but overall definitely worth it.

Perfect Position
In the perfect place, 5 min walk to the hustle and bustle of the local markets and 'Pub Street' Two pools, adequate breakfast, great staff. We had a street front balcony room and watching the traffic below was very entertaining. Our pickup from the airport was a TUK TUK which was unique and a great experience. Within 100 meters of the hotel you have numerous restuarants, local laundries and a mini mart.

Centrally located Hotel, great value for money.
Royal Crown Hotel is a centrally located hotel in Siem Reap. I had a 4th floor, corner room which was very spacious and well appointed including a bath and a big balcony area. The breakfast offered a good variety of food and was plentiful. The pool area is lovely and well serviced for food and bar service. The staff are pleasant and helpful. There are reliable and obliging "hotel" tuk tuk drivers stationed directly outside the hotel who will respond to your needs regarding your travel plans for the day. They are honest and will go anywhere you request at a negotiated price and they provide excellent service. The main city area is just around the corner for your shopping, bar, cafe and restaurant needs. I stayed at the RCH for 7 nights and would very happily stay there again and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Lovely gem in Siem Reap
This hotel is in a great location only a few minutes to the old market and to rows of restaurants and bars. The staff is friendly and accommodating and it is safe and clean. The two pools are lovely and the property is quiet at night.

When is a bargain not a bargain
We booked this hotel as we received an email stating it was half price, down from $120 a night to $60 and considering it had 2 swimming pools etc thought it would be a good deal. The hotel has two buildings, a new section with balconies but overlooking a busy road and the old section which has no balconies, this is where our room was, our view from our window was a brick wall about 6' away, which made the room very dark, but the main complaint with this hotel, which any potential guest should be made aware of is the absolute rock hard uncomfortable beds, we may as well have slept on the floor, they did put an extra quilt on top of the bed for us but this didn't make any difference, we barely had any sleep for the 4 nights we were there, believe me the beds are like board. To try and be positive, the hotel does offer a wonderful and genorous buffet breakfast every morning, and free airport suttle to and from the airport, the reception area is nice and so are all the staff, but would we stay here again, definitely not.

Wonderful stay at the Royal Crown
My husband and I stayed at the Royal Crown for 8 nights in January and used it as a base to explore Angkor Wat, Siem Reap and the surrounding area. We loved the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, including helping to arrange various tours/trips and transportation. The restaurant and roof top Happy Hour were nice and the pool area is just lovely and very clean. The Royal Crown is in an extremely convenient location - a short walk or tuk tuk ride to the main day and night market areas, pub street, restaurants and downtown and only a few blocks from "uptown" and the Royal Garden, etc. The only possible complaint that I could have would be that the bars of soap provided in the rooms are very small, though the housekeeping staff will gladly provide more bars if needed so its not really a problem. lol. I would stay at the Royal Crown again and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Siem Reap!

This is a wonderful hotel. I highly recommend it. The service from staff is superb. They are warm and friendly; and professional. The breakfast service is also great; good food options. Concierge does a great job of assisting with sightseeing options. Excellent value. Clean, comfortable hotel. I felt well taken care of. I would stay here again.

Very nice place to stay in the perfect location
I was impressed with this hotel, mainly because the rooms were very nice and big, and it also had 2 beautiful pools. Food was decent. The rooms were very nice and spacious, with huge glass doors and had everything you needed, along with a big bathroom area. The pools were beautiful and were great places to just lounge around and spend the day doing nothing. It's close to Pub Street and the markets, but far enough away it's quiet at the hotel. Great staff at the front desk too.
