"Had a one night stop over stay here, the accommodation was spotless and the bed was super comfy. Spent the evening in the pub, which is beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. We didn't have a meal but did order a cheesecake which was absolutely delicious. All the staff were friendly, warm and inviting and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was included and very delicious. Thank you "

"Reception Staff Caitlin was extremely help full. The room assigned to us was up 2 flights of stairs. This was not acceptable as we have a dog who needs have a walk at night. To ensure no mess in room. Caitlin found a ground floor room which was great. Cheryl the staff manager was very helpful when we went for breakfast. The hotel is a golf club excellent accommodation and very quite. Nearby there are some follies which I highly recommend for a visit."

"Location wise the hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town and has its own car park. The car park is tight to navigate, however any vaguely competent driver will be able to cope with it. The hotel certainly is in need of some sprucing up, the decor and furniture (with the exception of the bed) look like they've been there since the 80s or 90s. There were shoddy repair jobs on the bath/shower with excessive sealant bunged on, and the laminate on the bathroom mirror frame had mostly...

"We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable."

"Recently stayed two nights at this hotel, booked through Expedia. Hotel was like a ghost town on arrival, a simple checking took us nearly twenty five minutes to complete. Major confusion on if we had already paid through Expedia or required to pay hotel direct. Eventually I got my emails from Expedia up on my phone to clarify the issue. Our room was very basic but was cleaned to a high standard. Stains on carpets and plates of food outside in the corridors made for an unpleasant first...
