The hotel, for as short as a stay as it was, could not have been better. We were able to check in way in advance. Room was immaculate. Amenities were great. This is the first time staying in a hotel where the molding around the bathtub was falling off and moldy and the hot tub actually worked. It seems as if a major renovation or makeover just occurred but it was perfect. There was good eateries in downtown Shippensburg only a short couple minutes drive. The only thing I didn’t like was the time it took for the door to our room to close. I didn’t just want to walk away fearing seeing that someone may see the door still closing and take a chance a go inside when we’re not looking. I imagined it was probably new hydraulic hardware put on the door. Anyway, great stay. Wish it could’ve been longer.

Really liked the room, especially the updated shower & raised toilet. Great for us as seniors in our high 70’s. Really disappointed by the food service. Insufficient staff to handle the number of guests for graduation (Friday evening dinner & drinks) & Saturday morning breakfast. Took over an hour on Friday night to get a burger & turkey sandwich.

Unless you are visiting the University, this is pretty out of the way. Nothing around except athletic fields. Very nice facility as a place to spend the night.

We were booked for 4 nights. Every day had to go after things like towels and toilet paper. Only had maid stop by one day. That was after I asked the nice staff that was cleaning checked out rooms for towels. The other towels and toilet paper we had to go to the lobby and get them.

The dining option was not professional at all. We paid for the breakfast option prior to arrival When checking in the didn’t show it available Once we showed the confirmation email computer updated My husband and I went to breakfast next day Say at the bar told them we paid already Asked for the menu ordered and it was a mess from there They gave us items we didn’t order, made the breakfast we did order wrong then charged us 49$ on top of what we already paid When we brought it to their attention they said oh my bad it will correct when I close it out We were on our way to a funeral and had to leave Next day looked at the credit card they didn’t fix it Had to call hotel and go through the story again and it should not be this hard Simple process and very aggravated

The owners of this Courtyard have done a great job with the room decor and layout. Room amenities are almost a 4 star level. This frequent traveler appreciates the attention to detail.

We will continue to stay in this hotel. This is the best location to stay when we visit our daughter in college. Wish there was a light continental breakfast, but the price is incredible for the quality of the room and amenities. I can live without the breakfast because of the room size and comfort.

I felt welcomed, the room was very nice with a comfortable bed, and the pool hot tub area was fantastic. I was here during the winter, but I could see an amazing court yard with multiple chairs, fire pits, and bbq grills. The location was close to some amazing skiing and within walking distance to my son's college campus.

Better than most breakfast with room deals But be careful, they initially charged us for breakfast when we'd already paid on Expedia for breakfast. One thing I don't like, they charged us a few dollars in addition to Expedia cost "because they didn't get enough tax". How is one ever to know if that is correct? Could be a way to get more money. And, why isn't Expedia doing it correctly in the first place. Makes me not trust Expedia, either.

The lady who checked me in wqs extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. She was informative and helpful when I askes about recommendations for nearby places to eat. She also went out of her way to accommodate my request for a late checkout. She made the visit very wonderful

The check-in was one of the worst I have ever seen. The front desk person was dressed as a football player and kept a long line of us waiting for more than ten minutes while he talked FOOTBALL with one guest, as he was oblivious to those of us waiting in line. Once in the room, the TV remote would not work, and the lack of a shower curtain resulted in water all over the bathroom floor. The front desk was the work.
