We're sorry to hear that our housekeeping staff overlooked the wrapper that was stuck in the drain. We will bring this to their attention, as well as the PTAC filters (we do clean them frequently).. As for the odor in the room, if you booked a smoking jacuzzi room, that may explain some type of odor. Our non-smoking jacuzzi rooms smell fine. You can always let us know upon arrival if something is not right with the room, we can switch you to another. Please reach out to the hotel directly next time you think about booking and we'll make it up to you with a better rate for this unsatisfactory visit.

Adam, we hope that you'll retract your review, as your issue is with Hotels.com and not our hotel directly. We understand your frustration with the mistake booking. It actually happens several times a year (someone booking for Redding CA instead of Reading PA). We always approve the refund for a mistake like that, we can see you are from CA. The problem is, we are not the ones that charged you. It was hotels.com, and therefore you have to go through the correct process to receive that refund, which I believe you have. Once Hotels.com is contacted, they reach out to us to ask if a refund is ok, which we said yes. They will then initiate the refund, but this is not something that happens instantly. You'll probably see the money back in your account within a few days. Once you see that they refunded to you - I do hope you'll lift this poor review of our hotel. We were kind enough to approve the cancellation of this non-refundable reservation for you (if we were a greedy hotel, we could've kept it). I don't think we deserve to have our reputation damaged, when we were completely sympathetic and understanding to your situation. Thank you.

Thank you Mary, we appreciate you staying with us.. As for the hallways, they are actually rather new. Wallpaper was put up in 2023, new artwork in 2023, and carpet was done in 2020. So we are surprised to hear that it seemed dated to you. Nonetheless, we will take note.
