"I left and did not stay at this hotel because it seemed dirty, run-down, old, and unsafe. The carpets in the hallways were very dirty. The room has a musty stench. It was so close to the freeway that I could hear all the traffic inside my room. It did not look nice from the outside. It should have been priced much lower."

"Perfect spot near beach, yoga, shopping, Trader Joe's and even a Five and Below for little things like sunblock etc. Wonderful service! Donovan was AMAZING! His professionalism and warm welcome was just want we needed after the flight and busy airport! The breakfast was great and it is really an ideal spot to stay in Hermosa Beach!"

"Very clean staff could be a little nicer breakfast was suppose to be complimentary but wasn't and they only have a buffet over $25 a day plus gratuity. Parking was expensive was charged $45 a day."

"Very well appointed hotel, beautiful lobby and rooftop bar and pool. Staff is excellent, very helpful. Our room was nice, but the window sills, blinds, and bedside table surfaces were very dusty. Even when they came and made the bed and refreshed towels, they never dusted any surfaces. Weird. Good location for downtown LA, still a major homeless problem. Expect to see a lot of rundown areas There’s a Whole Foods next door, a Starbucks, and sweetgreen on the same street as well. We stayed 5 nights and used the valet for our car- in and out no problem, prompt service. The valet guys were great. Also a unique store connected to the lobby selling tote bags, shirts, sweatshirts and the like with a cool movie and tv series quotes theme “These gays. They’re trying to kill me” I’d recommend!"

"Booked this hotel for a concert at the Forum. The front desk staff was very helpful, they gave us info for a shuttle back and forth to the show for $60 for 2 people round-trip. Lyft would have been more difficult bc of the traffic and rate increases after the show. The restaurant hours are terrible. Open 6am-10am closed from 10am-5pm, then open again for dinner. The bar was open but no food until 5pm. Restaurants in immediate area are all fast food. 😕 The bartender was super sweet, we liked her a lot! They have 3 elevators for 10 floors and only 1 was working. It was super annoying. We took the stairs a number of times but we had too much luggage to do it at arrival or when we checked out. Electrical outlets were out on one side of the bed. We let them know when we left bc we didn't have time when we first noticed. Airport shuttle rides were long and crowded. People had to stand. We used Lyft bc it wasn't reliable for us with 30 mins between them. Front desk called them on the radio and they didn't even answer her back. Room was nice otherwise, bed was really comfortable! I probably won't stay here again bc there are other options."
