I consider overall is not bad, will rank higher if the bedding is better. The pillow is soft like nth when sleeping on it and the mattress lacks proper firmness.

I had other 5-stor hotel options in Shanzhen but I stick to Grand Hyatt for its amazing spa setting and its convenient location. I love it’s connected to a giant mall so I can just walk over for great dining options. It’s high end and quiet, though it is probably less grand than the other new 5-star hotels around. I highly recommend this place and will def stay here again and again- and you must see the spa and be wowed.

it's a great hotel, great location, at check-in, Laurie was excellent and front desk Desmond Assistant manager was very helpful when we left. Guest service was great when we asked for a firmer pillow and more water, respond was immediate! Highly recommended!

Overall a very nice hotel thou a bit shy of 5 star. I really didn't like that not only was my room not available even thou I wasn't an early check-in but in order to not wait a couple of hours I was charged more money to get into a room that was ready, clearly a bait and switch.

When we went to our room after check-in, we smelt something a bit strange (not sure if it's rotton wood, mouldy carpet or air coming out from air condition). The staff were very kind in allocating another room to us, but the issue persisted. They suggested that we could keep choosing the room until we're satisfied, but we were a bit tired to do so. Then the Manager on duty offered us some refreshments (fresh fruit, a bottle of red, and some nuts) as their sincerest apology. Overall we're quite happy with the service and attitude of the hotel staff. As for the condition of the hotel, there's not much anyone can do as it's 10 years' old. I believe once it gets refurbished then the quality of experience shall increase.

Very nice modern hotel with great dining options.
Nice modern clean hotel. New area. I compare everything to my usual go to hotel in Futian of which is my benchmark. Service was Prompt and professional but lacked in personality. Great rooms. Awesome food options within the hotel. Unusual amount of lifts which seems painful. Everything seems a bit back to front. Can’t forget the best part which was the amazing penthouse bar. Best in any Shenzhen hotel.

I would say this is the best hotel in Shenzhen. From the room, to the commendations, to the cleanliness, to the modern technology. It is located with a spectacular five-star mall in the base of the entrance of the hotel as well as a five-star mall connected with many incredible restaurants. It’s very close to everything. The train station/ the market/everything. It’s amazing. If I had to make one complaint. I would say that the music in the penthouse is way too loud. And the manager refused to lower the music. He actually told me to leave. He’s an absolute idiot and he should be fired. Decides that everything was at 1evel
