It was okay but not as nice as the one I stayed in Beijing . Wished it had English movie channels. But it was a good place to stay

At check in Nina was really helpful and quick at getting us checked in. She even helped us order a cab the next day for Disney. It’s about a 20 min ride from Disney. The hotel is nice especially for the price. The room sometimes felt a little too warm as the AC didn’t always work. If you are traveling with little kids the room can feel small but it works. Breakfast is included with the price which makes this hotel a great option. The breakfast is not your typical American breakfast but it still has some go-to typical options like cereal and milk. Bread for toast with jam. Their breakfast hot foods include spaghetti, hotdogs, bean bake, and fried rice for the “Western food.” They also had eggs and waffles that were good. Overall I would recommend this place.

Highly recommend
Convenient location to metro and local neighborhoods. Pleasant surprise was the nice park just behind the hotel (1/4 mi). The breakfast buffet was also a bonus

Perfect location to visit student family member staying close by. Close to metro and restaurants. Clean and comfortable - even the breakfast was pleasantly good!

Jinqiao is wonderful area, which is convenience to everywhere. The hotel front desk area needs to improve. However, the breakfast was excellent as well as the service. The room was super clean and had every necessary things I need.

About 10 mins walk to the Jinqiao station and small shopping mall. Probably need to call di-di for private transport, There is family mart nearby.

Hotel Jinqiao
The first room i was given smelled horribly of cigarette smoke and the couch had burn marks. They moved me to a new room which was much nicer. The room was clean and the staff were nice. They had a wonderful free breakfast. The gym wasn't much but overall the hotel was nice. I'd definitely stay there again

Nice economy hotel
We stayed there a couple of nights. It is about three blocks from a metro stop. This makes it fairly convenient. The room was clean and we'll maintained. The breakfast was Chinese style. So don't expect a western breakfast. However, if you are going native it's fine. The staff speaks enough English to get by, just have to be calm and patient.

Not up to expectations
I recognized the brand (Holiday Inn Express), it seemed in a good location and they accepted foreign passports - it was not just a hotel for locals carrying a Chinese ID card. With this in mind we booked and we had certain expectations in mind.. not high expectations but we were looking forward to a decent stay, From the disorganized front lobby, no dinner options, hard to get to with no real designated pedestrian paths... it was not ideal but the price was good so we overlooked those comforts. As soon as we opened the door to the room it was over, The smell of mold and old carpeting was overwhelming and it was tough to even enter the room, the walls were cracked and plaster was crumbling off them, the smell of smoke was everywhere including the sheets and pillows even though this was deemed a non smoking room. Even the two small water bottles of complementary water (the tap water is labeled as not potable) were already opened and not filled to the top. I called to change rooms and I was told there was no other option available, it was late at night and the end of a very long trip but staying in this room and exposing myself and my young child and small family to these conditions was not an option. Long story short, we were not upgraded but moved to a different floor where the conditions were better but still below expectations, It was good enough to just get through the night and vouch to never again come anywhere near this hotel, The next morning, the free breakfast was ,

Convenient Hotel Close to JingQiao Shopping Centre
Extremely convenient Hotel with the Metro (line 6) and bus stations close by. Just up the road (15 min walk) is the JingQiao Shopping Area that has many foreign shops and food places. Two large shopping centres are located here and there is everything you need. The Hotel itself is staffed 24/7 and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. In the morning you can go downstairs and conveniently eat the hot and cold breakfast served from 6-10am. Most staff do not speak English, however, if you need to call a taxi or require assistance they will do their very best to help and if necessary have a translator on the phone.

Ok hotel if you will visit northern Pudong
The room was nice and clean, no western tv channels, worn bathroom with some smell but clean. A sofa, table and desk with eth and ok wifi. The breakfast is mainly chinese but with some cereal, toast (only butter and jam) and juice. Night staff don't speak english and can't help you book taxi.

This is the second time I've gotten a room at this hotel and have been pleased each time. The hotel is clean and nicely kept up with. The front desk staff spoke decent English and processed my check in quickly. The hotel is located about .25 miles to the closest metro station (Jinqiao), an easy walk. The downsides (if any) are that the location is right off the exit of a highway and there isn't much to do in that particular area. Also the hallway had a faint smell of cigarettes which had us worried that we had booked a smoking room....but once inside the room we no longer could smell it. Overall a pleasant stay and a good value at the price.

Water pressure for the shower is not strong enough. Maintenance of matters in the room was so so: a spare part of the chair dropped on the floor but took 4 days before it was taken care of. A new spare part was put back onto the chair but the original was left on the floor unattended. Restaurant in the hotel was not opened in the evening and also lunch time during the weekend. Need to walk more than 10 minutes to a shopping mall.

A typical holidayinn hotel
A no-nonsense hotel. Unlike some reviews, which complained that some restaurants were far, I did not find it that far to eat out. There are lots of restaurants in the shopping mall near the metro, the only downside is that most of them seem to close at 10pm, which is a bit early. There are also nearby banks (in the direction away from metro) to exchange currency, and a 24 hour mart shop to buy anything from alcohol to sandwiches, etc. A good and practical accommodation if you are not looking for something luxury but more than affordable.

The hotel is good; the location is not good now
Stayed 2 nights for business purpose. The hotel itself was good, the staffs were all friendly utilizing English & Japanese. Unfortunately the area around the hotel had been under renovation. Few restaurants near to the hotel (no dinner was provided in the hotel; breasfast only during my stay). And the MRT station is not near to the hotel; some people may feel difficulties to come from the station. I hope the area renewal will be completed soon.

Great value for central Pudong area. Unfortunately, room sound insulation (road noise) is rather poor. Will get worse as the new highway right next to hotel is being constructed. Lucky for me, was just staying there for a night for transit...
