Loved everything about our stay here. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The chalet we stayed in was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!

Has potential..
This Inn is located very close to the mountain Which makes it great if you're going for a quick ski trip however the rooms are a little bit stale and the ceiling in our room was in bad conditon. we also had a problem with lots of ladybugs in the room flying out at us at night. Which was odd for the low temperature outside.

Great stay at a cozy inn!
We had a great stay! Location was great and the inn is very picturesque. Waffles/toast/cereal for breakfast. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Will definitely return!

The rooms were modern and spacious. WiFi was helpful because cell coverage very limited. Breakfast is basic but very gfi and more than I was expecting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

I’m not sure we can do much with your feedback. All the furniture has been updated, we feature modern amenities and our continental breakfast is exactly as advertised. Our staff does go out of our way for our guests as we did for you so I’m not sure why you’ve rated us as harshly as you have.

Last night staying heat was off was so cold in the room so I don’t understand why it is winter time outside was 30 degrees at night plus cleanness it’s not so great never again staying in this place .

Don’t waste your money!!!!! Beware!!!
Absolutely horrible!! No lights on the stairs outside going into the hotel, sheet of ice in the parking lot was extremely dangerous! No ability to control the temperature in the room. They had the heat at around 90 degrees, we had to open all the windows and leave till it cooled down then the heat was not on New Year’s Eve night. The outlets doing work, and they left dirty towels on the bathroom door and never removed them when I asked. The manager also tried to refuse our service dog and told us we needed to go somewhere else and threatened to call the police. Never again!!!

We had the three bedroom Apt 31. It was very spacious for 5 of us. Huge kitchen and two full bath. We have another family visiting for a few hours and played games in the living room. The bagels for breakfast was surprisingly good! Make sure getting to the breakfast before 9am, otherwise there’s possibility of running out of stock.

My stay was great! I was surprised by how nice and clean the room was. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The room was nicely decorated and had very comfortable bedding. Good heating and nice hot water. The room could use a bit more soundproofing though. The staff are super friendly too. Highly recommend it.

This was amazing. I thought it would just be a large room with 3 beds for the family but it was more like an apartment. In the communal space there was even a small kitchen, dining area, and lounge with large flatscreen. We had the place all to ourselves so it was more like renting an entire house than a hotel room. Very good, quick response from the owners too.

My guests came for a wedding in Shandaken. When their small room in the main building had a maintenance issue, they were given a lovely 3 bedroom 2 bathroom full kitchen, dining room and living room apartment instead. It is lovely, and my guests enjoyed it very much. Also had a balcony with a nice view! Great!

HIDDEN GEM IN THE CATSKILLS
VERY NICE, THE GROUNDS WERE WELL KEPT, THE POOL WAS CLEAN & VERY PRETTY SETTING. LOVED THE FIREPIT & PICNIC AREA, WE WERE ONLY STAYING FOR OVERNIGHT SO WE DID NOT STAY LONG ENOUGH TO ENJOY THE BAR/LOUNGE AREA BUT IT LOOKED COOL! Good, but should be better at it's price
Location is very nice, property well maintained with a nice patio and backyard and service friendly and welcoming. Room was clean though quite small and lacking any desk or table. There was also no fridge in the room though there was one in a common area down the hall. The common area was nice, but it lacked a faucet, let alone dishes or utensils rendering it difficult to use if you want to eat your own food as I did. I've come to expect things like table/desk and fridge in the room even in far more modestly priced places, so found their absence disappointing, but if you don't care for these things you should be fine.

The basic rooms are a bit small with no desk or chair but they do offer nice amenities to make up for it, such as a nice clean fridge with table, chairs, couch etc..

I was looking for a place to stay with my husband for a long weekend and away from the city. CSI was perfect, secluded, lay back and have all I was looking for. We enjoyed the pool and the on property hike that is not so easy how look but made an excellent morning work out. The breakfast was good , the bagels are the highlight, The big guy that take care us on property and the bar young lady were very welcoming and nice, she even gave me a free late check out. At night we lite up the fire outside and have a bottle of wine to enjoy. This place is near good restaurants and only 9 minutes from the town of Phoenicia that have more tourist traffic and closed late at night, they also housed a supermarket that closed at 11pm. by the bridge on Phoenicia you can go down to the river and bathe. I loved how the other guest have their pets there and I was able to interact with them. We played basketball, corn hole I won 5 times , and tennis. I will definitely go again.

We were the only people at the inn on that day! They sent a text in the am to let us know that nobody would be there and it included our room code. Nobody met us or cared that we were there. Seemed strange. Possibly can’t get workers? Why no other guests? Room was clean and nice. No open restaurant or ice or anything. Just us.

Hello Karen, we are predominantly a weekend destination and so we make sure we are up front with our midweek guests so they know what to expect. Most of the year, we do not accept midweek guests but in the early weeks of the high season we do. Staff was on property the entire time should you have needed anything however we do not operate our restaurant during periods of low occupancy.

Clean, comfortable hotel in the Catskills
Hotel room was very clean and check-in process was fast and easy. Hotel is in a great location in the Catskills if you’re there to go hiking or skiing, as it is very close to many peaks, trailheads, and ski areas. Hotel offers many amenities like a pool, fire pits, cornhole, and continental breakfast. My only complaint is that one of the major reasons I booked this particular hotel was because of the restaurant and bar that they advertise on their website, and the fire pits. I thought it would be really nice after a day of hiking to shower and have dinner and drinks around a campfire on a beautiful night in the Catskills without worrying about driving or finding a place to eat. However, that did not happen because after I showered, I went down to the restaurant and unfortunately was told the bar and kitchen were closed! Very upsetting, especially since the hotel’s website claims the bar and restaurant are open from 4-10 pm on Saturday, which is when I was there. I found a place to eat about 10 minutes away. I was hoping to at least relax around a fire pit upon returning, but that didn’t happen either. Strike 2 on this hotel! Other than those 2 things though, this hotel is clean and beds are very comfortable, which was the most important thing to me.

Staff was friendly on the phone, but unreachable after self check-in. Bed was comfortable. However, there was no heat in the room and it was a very cold night. No controllable thermostat. The windows were very drafty and the light fixture in the ceiling was a bare bulb. No continental breakfast, contrary to the website. I tried repeatedly to contact them, even after I replied to an automated text asking for feedback. I’m ok with some rough edges but no heat was a bit much.

Really enjoyed staying here, everything from the room, communication, service and friendliness was warm and welcoming. The homemade breakfast bagels and organic coffee were delicious. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the area.

Mountain retreat
Ski weekend. Close to Belleayre. Great bar on premises with an adjacent games room. Very cozy atmosphere with a good continental breakfast. Hard boiled eggs and piping hot bagels fresh out of the oven. The rooms upstairs were perfect for us and there was a nice sitting room with a television down the hallway. We would like to get back there in the summer for the hikes and swimming pool.
