Reasonable price, no sleep
The receptionist seemed efficient and was very cheerful but had trouble finding our booking, made a week beforehand. You get what you pay for. Cheap accommodation and very basic room. The hotel is obviously popular with holidaymakers in transit. Late arrivals kept us awake. Corridors are echoing and there is little soundproofing between rooms. The bathroom was in a flimsy plastic pod with an awkward step up from the bedroom. Breakfast did not start until 7.30. We left early.

A small bed but a big welcome...
Great place to stay when driving across Europe- Staff could not be more helpful and food is great. However a twin room is hot and the beds are very small extremely compact.

Dog friendly, ideal for Travellers
We have stayed here a few times now, as it is a dog friendly hotel within easy driving ditsance to and from the Port of Calais. Food is excellent, rooms clean, and a good safe situation on the outskirts of Rouen. Good Value.

Tried to contact the hotel to say that our check in would be late due to traffic and Eurotunnel delays on the UK side. Nobody spoke English on reception. Had to contact Expedia to get anywhere. The hotel was unwilling to accommodate our late check in and we were offered no refund by the hotel. Expedia were very helpful to arrange alternative accommodation.

Very friendly staff we were made to feel most welcome. We booked it only 30 minutes before arrival and we found it incredibly welcoming after a long journey. Only the shower let it down as it sprayed all over the bathroom floor.

Fair Hotel - Reasonable Price.
The hotel was fine and convenient stop en route to Calais (if one can have a convenient stop in Rouen!). However, when we arrived on the Sun eve after a 10 hour drive to find the restaurant closed! Not good! Fortunately, there are a couple of restaurants nearby which helped but it meant getting back into the car again when all we wanted was a drink and something nice to eat. having said that when we have stayed before and the restaurant was open the food was good. Check before you book would be our advice. Area is quiet and the staff pleasant.

Regular Stop Enroute from Calais
Always stay here now enroute from Calais. A nice quiet area of Rouen, and very easy to find from the motorway. Staff and food are great (restaurant only open weekdays). Excellent value for money, though, admittedly, the ensuite bathroom 'pods', although immaculately clean, are starting to get a wee bit tired.

Inter Hotel Rouen
Lovely hotel on north side of Rouen. Probably too nice for a simple stopover as we did but would be great if visiting the city. Great food and very pleasant service. Only real downside was no air conditioning in rooms which made for an uncomfortable sleep. Overall a nice hotel.

Some good and some disappointments
The room was basic but clean and comfortable and no complaints, however the bathroom shower screen seal appeared to be faulty and water ran down the screen and on to the floor. There was no hairdryer either in the bathroom or bedroom as advertised on Hotels.com web information, this is the second time visiting this hotel this has occurred. The restaurant has not been open for dinner on a weekend the same last 2 visits. Someone is obviously getting this information or service wrong. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room which would be available at the likes of Kyriad and Campanile and for a hotel that would class itself as more superior seems strange.

Excellent Food and Charming Staff
Standard twin room a little tight around the hips for a couple with luggage. Beds firm and comfortable. Small niggles were that the lift, smoking room and ventilator for bathroom are unavailable after 11pm. All offset by first class food in the restaurant and helpful staff. Retail park with supermarket and reasonably priced fuel 2 minutes away. Will return.

Inter hotel Eden
Needed a hotel to stop over in Rouen on our way to Le mans. It was easy to find and provided a clean and comfortable stop over. Didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast. If you think Ibis and are OK with a prefabricated bathroom then this hotel is perfectly fine as a stopping over point.

Nice enough hotel for a decent price. We stayed here for a stop-over from Saturday to Sunday. The restaurant, or rather bar, offers only snack-like options but if you are there early enough, you can make use of the nearby supermarkets - or you are forced to drive back into town to visit a restaurant. The room was clean and the bed quite comfortable.

Arrived at hotel and greeted by unfriendly man that couldn't even raise a smile. Once in room it was ok but very hot at night as no aircon and being on ground floor it didn't feel safe enough to have window open. On arriving at 6.00 pm we asked to eat on restaurant only to be told it doesn't open at weekend, we were told that there were restaurants jus yup the road at near by shopping centre but they were shut, so drove around until we found Courte Paille a very nice grill restaurant with English menus. Breastfast at almost 10 euros was rubbish with just croissants, cereal, ham, chesse and some fruit. Certainly wasn't worth the money. I stayed at an Ibis hotel in Rouen 2 weeks earlier and all they they charged the same the choice was far greater and worth the money. I would never stay here again

Historic buildings in beautiful grounds
Our room was in the courtyard. Although the room was clean and tidy it was very small and there was nowhere to put our luggage. We had to keep stepping over our bags to get to and from the bathroom or door. There was only one bedside lamp and although the bed was modern the mattress felt thin, cheap and was uncomfortable to sleep on. The room was located near to the entrance of the block and we were disturbed by the noise of everyone entering and exiting the building. The room above us had a springy floor which was squeaking alarmingly every time anyone walked across it. The bathroom had been recently refurbished and was spotlessly clean. However the extractor fan sounded like a Lancaster bomber engine. It was linked to the central light and as there was no other light available had to be switched on every time the bathroom was used. Breakfast was excellent and the staff really efficient and polite. The hotel has separate sports facilities which we explored and would have used if we had stayed again. Other people in the hotel were as disturbed as we were by the noise as we heard several conversations referring to the "squeaky" floor, our booming extractor fan and people were complaining they could hear everything in that block. A beautiful building in a fantastic setting with friendly staff and clean accommodation. However our experience was overall very unsatisfactory as we slept so badly.

too expensive, with no 24h reception
The room is quite small and the furnitures are old and the bathroom had a poor quality, On top of that the receptionist barely speak english and is difficult too communicate with them. Be careful if you arrive after 23.00 because even on the web site it says that there is 24h reception there is no one and everything is closed. I tried to call them and let them know that I would arrive late but it was too difficult to communicate with them, hopefully one of them spoke english and they gave me a code to click on the main door to get it the hotel.

Un hôtel très accueillant, le personnel est très agréable et à l’écoute. Les chambres confortables et assez isolé phonétiquement. Possible de manger au restaurant de l’hôtel (très bon).

Bon séjour. Dommage que les gendarmes logeant dans cet hôtel cette même nuit soient revenus vers 2 h 00 du matin et que leur parking donnait sur notre chambre (surtout par temps chaud alors que la Clim n’était pas encore en service, ce qui nous a obligés à dormir fenêtre ouverte
