"This hotel has always intrigued my hubby so instead of staying at our usual Abrego we did a night at Casa Munras and it was a big mistake. Unfortunately our room was so so musty it just was hard to breathe without a window open. We were only going to basically sleep in the room so when we first opened the room we thought maybe it would go away after some windows were opened, then maybe the heater or ac would help, we talked about seeing if we could change rooms but it was late and we were unpacked. So we stayed and left early in the am. Maybe it was just rm 150 which was a nice room and clean and spacious but the heavy weight of the musty Oder was bad. This particular room was near a sewer clean out and some sort of grate drain too so maybe that was it.
My overall disappointment with this hotel was just that it looked like maybe it was gonna be epic and it was worse than many motels we’ve stayed at in the past. One and done for me."
