"Nice property, overlooking the sea and harbor. The front entrance isn't intuitively obvious, and there is limited parking, although a pay & display across the road is offered too. The rooms are reached through a series of corridors and it is up and down. The decor was dull and the room needs more ..."

"Lovely room location great. The only complaint is the housekeeping as coffee wasn’t replenished at all and the water on one day. Bed wasn’t made at all. The Joiners Arms was nice breakfast on the last day was a bit short staffed as was busy and only one person serving and items needed replenishing ..."

14 Sep 2019Lovely Italian restaurant called Elan, very reasonably priced and good selection of pasta and pizza. The Bamburgh Castle pub has a nice outside seating area overlooking the harbour and Farne Islands.

4 Sep 2019Loved it, good mix of shops and eateries - best place to go for a drink is The Ship - great atmosphere & either you'll bump into someone you know or be able to talk new people as it's cosy instead and like no other. Best shop: the Farne shop.
