Very smart hotel with well decorated spacious room. Comfortable beds. Quiet location on outskirts of Sarasota but convenient for centre and all beaches. Plenty of free parking. Decent range of food for breakfast and enough for most diners. Restaurant on site serves good food.

Wonderful hotel. Extremely clean and neat. Room was wonderful. And the breakfast... Great eggs and sausage. The doughnuts were amazing. Made at their restaurant as well as the bread. Highly recommend. We will be back.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The well appointed rooms with comfortable beds are spotlessly clean along with the hallways, lobby, and pool area. The Inn is quiet and peaceful notwithstanding its size. The complimentary breakfasts are restaurant quality. The staff is helpful and friendly. Next door is an excellent restaurant and bakery serving comfort food at great prices. Parking is free and the location is convenient to everything. All this and reasonable room rates too. This place is a real gem in Sarasota!

Area around the hotel was not very touristy. It was primarily family housing.

The staff was amazing. I love the amish character and faciltiy. The exercise room, pool, and breakfast were appreciated and great! And we loved the Dutchman restaurant and the gift shop above. We hope to come back.

Best hotel in Sarasota for our needs. Nothing fancy, but extremely clean and well-maintained with very friendly & helpful staff. Love the sprinkle of Amish finishes and spacious design, along with the adjacent restaurant, bakery, and retail store. Complimentary cookies from 4-8 pm are a hit with the kids, and the daily breakfast is a cut above what you might expect. By far our favorite place to stay in Sarasota.

The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff were amazing and polite. We also loved the “treats” in the afternoon. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and will be returning on our next trip back to Florida.

We enjoyed the room so much that we ended up staying an extra night! All of the staff were super nice. It smells nice everywhere lol. The hallways are spacious, the rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are spacious. The rooms are completely worth the price :) We didn’t get to check out the pool or breakfast so no comment on that.

I didn’t realize that it is part of the Der Dutchman restaurant which is a good thing ! The rooms and hallways are quite spacious.

This hotel is spectacular! Each staff member that we came upon went out of their way to be friendly and helpful! The property was the cleanest we’ve ever seen in all our travels. The room was so comfortable and you had every possible convenience. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Carlisle Inn except thank you for this awesome experience!

We were pleasantly surprised at the 5 star service at this hotel. The price point was very reasonable. The facilities and room were very clean. The breakfast buffet was included and was fresh and tasty with multiple options - eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, muffins, etc and a variety of juices plus coffee. The staff was super accommodating and very friendly.

I love all the Amish art work. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are big. I love that there are two sinks so I don’t have to share with my husband.
