Good location and only about 3-4 mins walk to town centre. Mâcon centre is a little gem with loads of shops.

Great stop-over for skitrip

Brit Hotel Macon is a very clean, modern hotel with convenient location near restaurants. Ishwari curry house is 5 mins walk! Good buffet breakfast with fresh orange juice machine. Free parking outside on street till 8.30am or across the roundabout opposite the station for later departures - only 1 minute walk away. Rooms are a good size and functional rather than luxurious.

First time use of the Brit hotel chain and will use again. So clean and today, great staff and location to the centre of Macon. With all things you get what you pay for but for that extra €10 (total €71) you get a whole lot of comfort.

Great budget option by the train station

We stayed here one night because it was convenient to the train station. Excellent budget option, clean and comfortable rooms, and the breakfast was substantial.

The receptionist tried to be nice, but it was kind of fake. She was to busy talking to a gentleman when I walked in for check in and asked her questions about the parking. I guess..., I was bordering her somehow. Sorry, I didn’t mean to disturb you-:) When I called from the room and asked her questions about a restaurant near by, she couldn’t even understand. I lived in the USA for almost 13 years and I’m from Germany. Well, it’s a small town after all.... Hotel was nice -:)

One night stay

All was good until I asked for food and was told nobody was cooking. It was only 7pm and I had just driven from canterbury and was 11 hours into my journey. All I wanted was food and was told to go down into the town as there where loads of restaurants there. If going to this hotel please make sure they have a chef working that day or your going to starve.

OK Hotel in a Great City

Generally Good Spot...parking is in a dismal garage and uncertain....street parking close but not clearly defined. Smoking right by the entrance discourages guests.

Friendly, accommodating staff, pleasant hotel

The staff were really accommodating and helpful. We had bikes with us which they stored safely. Our room was an attic room, really big and very clean. There was an informality to the hotel along with friendliness and efficiency which I really liked.

Ideal overnight stop.

Ideal place on the edge of town for an overnight stay. Room was spacious and clean. Only issue was that the car park was full so had to park at the train station.

Excellent Breakfast and renovated rooms.

Rooms were very clean and new. Breakfast was totally worth it. Check in at night was very quick even though the receptionist didn't talk English. Would book it again!

Perfectly fine brit hotel

A very nice small hotel close to everything. Good wifi and we found free parking in the car park just across the street. The room was better than the photos show. We would happily stay here again, excellent value.

Great hotel in ideal location.

Great stay. Warm welcome, secure parking opposite. Hotel is right in the centre of Macon, a short walk to the beautiful river. Comfortable room. Nice self-service breakfast with a machine that presses oranges.

Très bien

Joli hotel, chambre agréable et calme. Proche gare (2mn a pied) environnement très correct. Plusieurs solutions de restauration a proximite, dont superette. Un plateau d'accueil dans la chambre pour se faire une boisson chaude serait un petit plus apprécié
