Twenty minute taxi ride to shops
Huge resort, clean,big swimming pool, staff attentive although English was limited still had no problems. Restaurants and bads were good but very expensive. Hotel rooms are comfortable, bathroom modern and with all the condiments. The problem and discomfort was the BED!!!! We had a kingsize bed that was as hard as sleeping on the tile floor. Would have been more comfortable sleeping on a carpeted floor. Also the distance from any shops or alternative restaurants. 20 minutes taxi drive to town. so quite isolated at the hotel. Did find a little cafe on the beach approx 1.5 kilometers down the beach which we went to every evening for delicious small meals. The walk was good excercise. The bay is very polluted so don't expect to see clear ocean water. If you are going for a rest, then this resort is good, but they definitely need to improve those beds. Also wouild recommend apartment with ocean views and balcony. Bit costlier but worth it.
