Just recently returned from a 3 night stay at hotel Zephyros. Great little hotel....not on the beach front, which was lovely as the hotel had plenty of space outside round the pool for guests to enjoy & being active people we found it really nice to have a 5-7 mins walk down to the beach front. (longer if you want to use the beach loungers at Exilir) If you are less mobile/active then there is a slight incline coming back up from the beach.
Wanted to watch the sunrise in the morning so we booked a Superior Sea View Room (Room 3).....perfect, clean, nice balcony, looking out to Sea and also had a pool view. We thought the Air Con unit wasn't working, but this wasn't the case, all windows have to be fully closed for it to operate (our balcony door/window was slightly open which we didn't realize).
Breakfast - there was the option to sit inside or outside. Just the right amount of choice, cereals, fresh fruit, croissants, muffins, cold meats with cheese, cooked hot sausages, beans, greek delicacies & then freshly cooked eggs ie omelette, prepared in front of you.
Pool - temp was perfect, the Jacuzzi hot tub next to the pool and the pool itself were kept very clean.
Pool Bar - we had a couple of drinks here, not expensive - large beer 4 euros, toasted sandwich all good. Pool ambiance nice, only one afternoon I did not enjoy it as the music genre (Glen Campbell, Elvis) changed to that of the fellow guests sat by the bar & they increased it in volume.
