Nice hotel however it needs few upgrades, lot of mosquitoes, the ax was not working properly, the bathroom is dated and no sign that you should not drink the tap water which was extremely salty, the staff is great and very helpful, the pool needs cleaning every day and it would have many flies and leaves that stayed there over days

Initially we had a problem with the 2nd room, but then staff was very helpful in resolving that. The breakfast and pool were very good. Property was very clean. Room was also very clean, but bathroom needs a makeover. Especially the tub. Christina and Athina were very helpful.

Excellent, small boutique hotel, very clean, lovely food, lovely staff, excellent location only 5 minutes walk from beach, restaurants and shops. 11 minutes cab ride from airport.

Had a weekend trip for my birthday and was really happy with the amazing experience at Hermes. The hotel grounds were beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and had lots of options daily, the location was perfect to access the main area in Kamari with shops, restaurants and the beach all within a short walk. The staff were always friendly and so helpful throughout in organizing rides, giving directions, offering suggestions and making reservations. Would definitely stay here if I visit Santorini again!

We loved the hotel specially the breakfast it had a wonderful spread and super yummt yogurt parfaits that I am still craving !. Also offered free parking which was useful for a quad the hotel helped us rent . The pool area was lovely and the staff was great. They also helped booked round trip airport transportation and if you check out before you leave there is a room to hang out in and put your suitcase also walking distance from the beach and a really good restaurant . They also have a restaurant with good food

The property was well-maintained and the grounds were gorgeous. There was plenty of ample shade and it was very clean. My only criticism would be the WIFI. It was very slow or non-existent in the room. We had to go to the hotel lobby to get WIFI

Our room was nice the shower was a little small. We had a gorgeous veiw from our balcony. We got the superior room with the garden view. We thought there was a plunge pool on our balcony but thats only in the junior suites. The breakfast buffet was perfect whether you want something light or a full breakfast. Delicious! The grounds and pool area were beautifully landscaped. And the hotel was just minutes away from the beach front shops and restaurants. I liked being off the main area a little bit because it was nice and quiet.

Great stay but a few important things were missing
Overall good stay, hotel was beautiful, breakfast was delicious, two pools were great and could have as many beach towels as you liked, our rooms were restocked with fresh towels everyday, staff gave us good recommendation's, hotel food and drink was decently priced and nice, however a couple of things: 1. Our room booking said that we had a plunge pool and we didn't get one. The staff were accommodating and moved us to a bigger room but still no plunge pool. 2. The room did not feature a mini bar of any kind 3. Our room booking was for 3 adults (1 single bed and a Queen bed) - we were given a sofa mattress that was very uncomfortable. 4. Air-conditioning wasn't great - only one half of the room was kept cools so made for very uncomfortable sticky nights in August. 5. Bedsheets were never changed - that would have been lovely. 6. My friend and I lost a couple of things at the hotel and staff didn't seem all that interested and didn't provide much help.

Lovely little hotel
Overall this is a lovely little hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the main stripe by the beach. The restaurant and pool areas were beautiful and clean and the staff were friendly. The hotel rooms are a little dated but clean and functional.

Wedding stay
We stayed here as a group of family and friends for a wedding. The staff were excellent. The bed was was very comfy. A little more storage space would have been welcome though. The bar and pool area were really nice, with the second pool area having children's toys which came in handy. The barman is excellent and worked really hard to help us enjoy our stay. We ate lunch a couple of times, it was reasonably priced and a good choice.

Amazing stay, excellent service
The hotel is gorgeous. The service was absolutely fantastic, the staff go above and beyond. They provided plug adapters and printed all travel documents and extra drinks for no charge. The location is great, a few minutes walk to the beach and loads of bars and restaurants.

The room we saw pictures of and booked was nothing like we received. Booked the room because it came with a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi did not work, which we paid extra for. When we spoke to staff they told us there is nothing they can do until the next morning and we were there for only one night. The rooms and washrooms also looked much older than the photos. Not very impressed with this property and would not go back.

Great hotel, lovely atmosphere
The hotel is only a short walk from vibrant and beautiful Kamari beach. Both pools are very pleasant (we especially enjoyed the quieter pool not beside the bar). Breakfast was simple but still had a wide range. All of the staff were absolutely lovely to deal with.

Great little hotel
We arrived just before check In time but the lady let us check in rather than wait another hour. The hotel is very clean, friendly staff, delicious food and quiet ... just what we needed. The hotel is a 5minute was from kamari beach and the strip of full of restaurants, shops and bars. There is also a little supermarket which stocks everything u need and is a 2 minute walk away. There are two pools which were always clean. This is more of an adult hotel although there were guests with children. Staff here really are friendly. Breakfast had a huge variety to choose from. If we visit santorini again we will be booking the same hotel.

Perfect hotel in an amazing location. This hotel is everything you think about when you imagine Greece. Beautiful hotel, kind staff, and great hospitality. It is located just 5 minutes from a beautiful beach with wonderful restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

A cut above the rest. Hermes Hotel Room 107.
My wife and I stayed for a week at the Hermes Hotel in Kamari. It was with trepidation as we drove the short distance from the airport to the hotel. We were soon put at ease as we pulled up outside of the hotel, which you would describe as “ boutique” as we entered the main lobby, we were greeted by one of the many welcoming staff who spoke very good English which always makes for an easy stay. They are also very knowledgeable. The room was on the second floor with a sun flooded terrace and jacuzzi glistening in the sunlight. The rooms are kept to a very high standard of cleanliness and our maid worked tirelessly each morning during our breakfast to ensure it was restored to its best. The breakfast was also good with quite an array of the usual continental foods you see in Europe. Again the staff are more than willing to go the extra mile to help you with anything you need. We had lunch in the restaurant a couple days of days, again the freshly cooked meals were very good, the beef burger was a great delight and very tasty. We didn’t try the evening menu, as we ate out along the local strip which is 5 mins walk from the hotel. Try the little Taverna just before the shop half way down the road, the food was the best we had all week. We did end up back in the bar area for a few drinks after our meals, again the staff are some of the best I’ve come across and again will do anything your wanting. Overall the Hotel Hermes is a must stay if your heading to Kamari.

Beautiful hotel yet rude staff
Stayed in the hotel prior to our wedding in Santorini, the hotel was clean and in a good condition. Staff however were incredibly rude including the hotel manager who proceeded to shout at us for creating too much noise in the pool for just playing catch. Would definitely not recommend to anyone to stay there!

Close to the bus stop and beach.
We loved our stay. The staff was great and the pool was amazing. We didn't even make it to the beach to swim but it was so close. The bed was a little hard to sleep on but that may just be a personal choice. If you want to be away from the mess of tourists this is the place
