Lovely clean, comfortable and quiet apartment. Far enough from the beach to avoid the throng but close enough that it's only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and all the many bars and restaurants. Simply laze by the pool on a mix of shaded and exposed loungers and then back to the room to cool down with the air con. Our apartment had a covered balcony so we could sit out with some lunch or enjoy the evening. Our room had a large fridge and kitchenette; so great for storing cool drinks and snacks, but can cause a bit of noise at night. The pool side bar had simple but good quality food offerings and plenty of drinks at reasonable prices. The whole resort is directly under the airport flight path being not far from the beginning of the airport runway, but we didn't find the noise from the landing planes disturbing in anyway. Overall I would highly recommend a stay here.

Relaxing, family run small hotel
Atalos Suites is a small, family run hotel with comfortable air conditioned rooms and a nice pool with a good selection of sunloungers which you are unlikely to have to fight for. The rooms support self catering but owner Giannis and his staff make breakfast and other light meals available as needed at reasonable cost. Staff will help you out with trips and transfers too. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

We were initially worried that we had booked too far from Oia and the "main attraction" but soon realised how much better it was to be so close to the Kamari beach and away from the crowds. Giannes the owner was exceptionally welcoming and even drove us to the port when we left for convenience. He also let us take his adorable dog, Bella, to the beach for a day and we just loved playing with her... the sweetest little thing! Room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Santorini was the last stop on our Cyclades tour and it was by far our favourite.

Giannis will make your stay memorable
I stayed at the hotel with a friend in September. We were happy to meet Giannis, the owner of the hotel, who was very attentive into making our stay, the most pleasant and memorable in beautiful Santorini. Upon request, he picked us up and dropped us back at the airport. He also had very good advice for visiting the island and he gave us his mobile phone number in case we had to contact him for any emergencies. He was as attentive to us as he was to his many guests who gladly come back yearly for their vacations. Giannis keeps his hotel clean, quiet and secure . The location is great, a short few minutes walk from Kamari beach where heaven is almost found on earth. Travelling by bus (€1.80/person) to all the attractions in Santorini was also easy from the hotel. Bottom line, we highly recommend the hotel and we thank Giannis for his hospitality. We will gladly come back!

Time to relax
This is our second stay at Atalos. After being let down by another establishment last year we were redirected to Atalos and liked it so much we returned this year. We were pleasantly greeted by the owner on arrival and shown to our apartment which was spacious and clean with all the amenities in full working order. Atalos is situated away from the seafront (about a 5-7 minute walk) affording it a quieter atmosphere so lazing by the pool under the palms is peaceful and relaxing. On departure, we were transferred to the airport by the owner (He would have picked us up on arrival as well had it not been for an administrative error). We are now looking forward to our return next year.

located in a quiet location about 3-4 minutes walk from the beach. The rooms are cleaned every day including fresh sheets and towels which is excellent. Safe in the room which is good. Pool area nice although quite small so it can be difficult to get a sun bed. My only criticism is that we booked self catering accommodation but it isn't. There was a fridge and kettle and crockery but no hob or pans therefore it wasn't even possible to boil an egg. This is therefore not self catering accommodation although it is advertised as such. Typical of much holiday accommodation the rooms do lack sufficient clothes storage although we did manage - perhaps a hint not to take so much.

Nice family run hotel
the location of the hotel is excellent, although just a short walk from the beach, bars and restaurants, the area was quiet and peaceful. The pool area is lovely with a small bar for drinks and snacks throughout the day. The hotel staff were very helpful and rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day. I would defiantly recommend this hotel.

Probably the quirkiest hotel manager you'll ever meet, but he made sure to give us the best room he had available when we got there, and he was ready to drop us off at the airport at 5 am on the day we left, with a little treat bag (croissants and orange juice). That's A+ service right there. The location is good, about 200 meters from the beach, and 300 meters or so from where the bus stop is. The Greeks on Santorini are not very good at explaining how their buses work, and we made the mistake of getting off at "Kamari beach main" assuming it was our stop. That ended up being a 1.5 km walk from the hotel. The room was spacious for two, with a well equipped kitchenette and a mini-fridge. Our room initially smelled of sewage, but that only lasted a few hours (I honestly think there was a temporary pipe issue) and was fine the next day. The Bfast was an extra €5 per person, and offers cheese, eggs, yoghurt, toast, etc. very decent for the price. The hotel has a nice pool outside and comfortable lounging chairs, but we opted to go to the beach instead.

Couldn't have asked for a batter introduction to Santorini and Kamari. Staff and owners were more than accommodating, the hotel/suites were comfortable and location wise it's close enough to the action yet a walk away from too much noise.

Room cleaned every day - fresh towels and linen Pool area rarely noisy or busy - perfect for relaxing Pool bar open early to late - ideal for a first drink before strolling down to the beach front restaurants for an evening meal Quiet location no noise of a night time - 5 minute gentle stroll down to the beach promenade.Recommended for a relaxing stay.

The hotel has a lovely pool area and is conveniently located - only a short walk to the beach and bars/restaurants. Our room was small and basic. The air con and shower worked well, the bed was comfortable but the kitchenette was just a fridge and sink in the corner of the room. The balcony overlooked a car park so we didn't use this as much as we'd intended. Overall it offers value for money if you are looking for something simple and reasonably priced.

My bf and I spent a week staying in Atalos, Santorini. The owner Giannis could not have done more for us - very helpful and accommodating. Picked us up & dropped us off at the airport. Nice pool area, rooms were cleaned daily although a bit basic/traditional (but it's not claiming to be 4/5 stars). In a really convenient location - 5 minute walk from the main area of Kamari, which is a lovely place to stay.

Fresh orange juice on arrival, information on the island and resort. Restaurant recommendations (and a lift there and back) Gianis was an excellent host. The apartment and pool area were spotlessly clean, a relaxing haven within a short walk of the centre, which has all the resort facilities you would want. Booked after reading previous reviews and was not disappointed! Thank you Gianis for a wonderful stay, we were sorry to leave.

Great find! Lovely hotel, pretty pool and breakfast area, cute room. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets, private balcony ( not a view but secluded with bourganvillia), simple kitchen facilities. Staff very helpful, emailed Giannis prior to holiday and arranged transfers to and from hotel.

Perfect location, couple of minutes from shops, bars, restaurants and bus stop which takes you to fira. Yiannis (hotel owner) helpful, pick up at airport and general information. Breakfast good. Overall, we had a very restful and peaceful holiday.

Extremely clean and well looked after, family run apartments. Yannis is arguably the hardest working owner we have ever witnessed. There is a lovely pool area including a pool bar, and also a rooftop terrace. The rooms were serviced every day with clean towels and bedding. The apartment complex is typically Greek....it has a quaint village feel to it and is extremely well tended. The apartments are ideally located a mere 5 minute stroll from the beach, restaurants and supermarket. There is a free parking area should you have a hire car etc.. They have free wifi, a free built in safe in each room and free air conditioning. The family and staff are all friendly and will go out of their way to help with any requests.

Atalos is just 300 metres from Kamari Beach and the beach front promenade.It is a quiet hotel,great for relaxing and suitable for the older traveller.Basic amenities,no microwave or stove in the apartment. We were at Atalos at the critical time of the Greek meltdown,so Gianni was not as cheerful as described in other reviews.We did our own ferry transfers. A little bar overlooks the pool.Cocktails and sandwiches are available.Nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Weekend at Santorini
My wife and I went to Santorini for our 5th wedding anniversary, we arrived at about 0030 in the AM on saturday and called the hotel, within 10 mins of calling Giannis (one of the owners) picked us up from the airport, after arriving at the hotel Giannis still served us welcome drinks and gave us a brief about the area and things to do and trips to go on he even made sure we were oriented with the map so that we don't get lost, then he showed us our room. Breakfast in the morning is amazing! you sit by the pool while they serve you eggs, bacon, juice/coffee, yogurt, fresh fruits, bread and jelly etc. the bar did't really have a "full bar" but hey when in Greece all you need is some Mythos/Alpha and you're good. the hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the beach where a lot of restaurants are. There is also an open air cinema that is a 15min walk and I highly suggest you ask Giannis about it. We checked out early monday morning at about 0630 and Giannis was already ready to take us back to the airport, on the way he handed us a souvenir plate and said "for you, memories of Greece", my wife and I looked at each other and smiled in awe. I cannot stress enough how this was one of the best customer service experience I have ever received, they made us feel at home we never felt like we were a bother when we asked for something, they were always smiling and greeted us every time. We highly recommend this place! totally worth the money!

We were greeted with a drink our room was inpecably clean! The staff was very friendly and informative. We got a ride to the airport for free. Can't wait to return here again! Best experience ever! Close to the beach,convenience store, and entertainment. Easy access to local bus transportation.

Lovely complex, studio was spacious.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 day break at atolos apartments. Studio style room with small kitchenette large shower room. Maid service every day with fresh linen. Slightly noise issue with aircraft but can't be avoided in Kamari. Good location for all amenities and owners couldn't be more accommodating. Transporting us to the airport was a much appreciated person touch. Good pool area with comfortable loungers pool was clean as was the whole complex. Owners working hard to maintain the property and keep guests happy. Would return wothout a doubt. Kamari a perfect location to explore Santorini.

Kamari Beach Stay
Great location, three minute walk to Kamari Beach! Free wifi, but no breakfast included-recommend going to Splash Cafe on the beach for a delicious and filling breakfast (we went four days in a row!). The hotel is a bit quirky with colorful, unique decor in each room. The room itself includes a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, tea kettle and dish ware and small walkout patio. Only complaints: the beds were very stiff and the shower only reached lukewarm temperatures. For the price and location, however, it's overall a great deal. The bus stop is about 5-10 minute walk away with fares of about 1.60E to Fira and Oia.

Lovely place to stay
We stayed at the Atalos Villas for 2 weeks, our room was cleaned, bed linen and towels changed every day the room was spotless, very quiet and relaxing. Yannis and his wife Irini were very friendly and helpful and always around should you need them in fact all the staff are lovely ( they even gave us a lovely gift as we were leaving).We were about a 10 minute walk away from the beach and main strip of numerous restaurants and shops ( we liked to eat at KINGS-for their excellent service and lovely food). Hired a car for 2 days and travelled all over the island. Yannis provides a free pick up and drop off service for the airport which is only 10-15 minutes away. We would definitely stay there again

My husband and I stayed here for a week and had a lovely time giannis and his family where lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for you hotel lovely and clean and near to the beach and restaurants we would definitely stay here again
