"What a perfect stay. Staff was accommodating helpful took pride in their hospitality. Anything we needed was cheerfully supplied. Definitely family friendly. Lots and lots of children. The shuttle service was a wonderful extra that really helped out..Pool was kept clean as was the entire property."

"My family loves this hotel! The rooms are beautiful and luxurious. The staff is amazing—everyone is so cheerful, friendly, and helpful, it really feels like they value and appreciate you as a guest. Great hotel for relaxing. The pool area is incredible as well, peaceful and soothing with nice views and plenty of places to hang out. Love the restaurants, too—they have options for everyone! (My husband and I are vegan and were able to eat very well with delicious food at the Sports Bar and the Willows Steakhouse!) The casino is fun and bustling. The hotel is very convenient to visit the charming areas of Solvang and Los Olivos, go wine tasting, or stop by the Santa Ines Mission. We’ve stayed here twice now and had a wonderful experience both times."

"After a long, exhausting day driving up on Hwy 101, I called three hotels in the area looking for a late check-in around 10 PM. Villa Motel stood out immediately — the staff was by far the friendliest on the phone and didn't hesitate to accommodate me. The room was spotless and well maintained. Knowing I needed rest, they kindly allowed a late check-out too, which made a world of difference after a tiring day on the road. What truly set this place apart was the checkout experience. When I asked about a nearby café for a good chai latte, the owner went above and beyond — offering me a complimentary cup and a snack on the house. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. Parking was free and easy, great access to Hwy 101, quiet surroundings, and outstanding value. This is exactly the kind of place road trippers dream of finding. Highly recommend and will absolutely be back!"

"The room was very antiquated and outdated. The tub had black stains in it and I was not happy with that. The staff on the other hand was remarkable. We could not get the remote or TV working and we came in and figured out the plug needed to be reset. It’s not necessarily a beach view, more of a marina view. The breakfast was really nonexistent. You could ask for a piece of fruit or a granola bar and they had tea and coffee. There was nothing really else. The keys kept having to be reset as they were old as well. For the price we paid, I did expect more than what was offered. I’m not sure that I would give this property another chance."

"Clean comfortable beds and very large bathroom with area to sit and put on your makeup. It was a little noisy outside, but we just turned on the a/c as a white noise. Loved that this hotel had an elevator in addition to stairs, which made it easier for bringing up luggage."
