This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have experienced, the staff memeber who checked us in appeared to be intoxicated as he could not understand basic things said to him. They claim to be pet friendly, but when our friends with their service dogs showed up to get ready with us before going down to the boardwalk, the same intoxicated employee called me to berate and insult us and our service animals. Saying that they needed to leave immediately and threatened to charge us for 2 animals that were not staying in the room. When I calmly explained that they are medical alert service animals and that they were not staying in the room, only getting ready before leaving in a few minutes, he then began to yell again stating "I don't care what they are, they can not be here". Then the next morning as we checked out, he acted even more unprofessional and glared at us and acted like he was going to follow us out. Hours after checking out, now a day later from the inappropriate call, the manger called to harass me about it even more. I assumed he would be calling to apologize for the unprofessional of the employee, however after explaing what happened he states that he was glad, his words, that the employee spoke to me in such a rude way and that it is not okay for us to have had medical alert dogs, who need to be with their person at all times, in the hotel room in any matter and that this was disrespectful of us to do this anywhere. Stating rules were broken, that we were never told.
