Just ok
We were on the west wing. It was second to last day before closing and appeared that employees were ready to be done for the season-could have definitely been cleaner.

The hotel was amazing,beautiful and very clean. My husband and i stayed in a king size bed room and it was not a nice mattress very ferm, bed was always right in front of the door.

No breaking the rules at Hotel Breakers
The hotel is conveniently close to the park rear entrance with free parking. Checking in early was no issue as we arrived at 12:00 PM on Friday. The check out time, however, is strictly enforced by the hotel staff knocking on our door at 10:30 am and 10:55 am tonsure the 11:00 check out is adhered to. Over all the stay was great, but be ready to leave by 11:00 sharp or else!

Great hotel. Only complaint. For $520 a night there should be a coffee machine in the room and free breakfast. I understand Starbucks and Perkins are on site but for me to have to spend 700 bucks total for one night

Had a really good experience and would stay here again! Very clean, inside and outside of property. Staff were great, helpful and efficient. Room and beds were comfortable. Great location...1 minutes walk from Cedar Point gate near Magnum.

Very nice property. Lots of spiders and cobwebs on the balcony. Room itself was excellent. Bed was Extremely comfortable!!!! Pool vacuum was broken. Lots of sand in the pool.

Trying to figure out why I paid $400 for a one-night stay? The hotel was fine but nothing grand. I guess you pay for being at the Park. The check-in line was super long and I was told we would receive a text when our room was ready. That did not happen. And it being Labor Day weekend, they were short staffed. Very disappointing for the cost.

We enjoyed our overnight stay especially the beach. My issue is that they failed to tell us when we booked our room Sunday that the hotel & beach would be closing at 12n on Labor Day. We felt cheated out of a day& will not return during the labor day weekend unless it's a Saturday.

Location, location.
We stay here every year in August. The #1 reason why is the location. It is the only Cedar Point hotel that you can walk out of the hotel and head straight to the park in just moments. The Starbucks is nice and so is Perkins. The beach is lovely for a lake. Cons- the bathroom shower is small and the water spills everywhere. Every time we stay here the bathrooms smell like wet mold. The indoor pool was closed for two nights we were there. They had the cleaning machine in the pool for two days and I never saw a worker. Seems like they were being lazy opening it back up. Very pricy hotel almost a grand for two nights in a very small family suite with two beds. Will we still be back for our annual trip, yes.

My only negative are the guests leaving the hotel towels and trash on the beach. It's a disgrace and very disrespectful to the hotel and other guests.

There are no amenities. Simple as that. Besides location to Cedar Point and its beach, there is no reason to spend so much per night. 30 minute entrance into Cedar Shores in July and but nothing in August! Are the rates cheaper? No. No free coffee in your room, or discounted breakfast. The rooms are just okay. Nothing special.

This place is not worth it. Over $300 a night and the room only has basic cable - can’t even order a movie. Rude staff. Questionable housekeeping. Beds are nasty. FLOOR IN BATHROOM AND ENTRYWAY EXTREMELY NASTY.

Great hotel needs a better check-in process
The room was great! The restaurants were great! Loves the easy access to the beach - which was very clean! Only thing that wasn’t great was the check-in process. Got there right at 4:00 for check-in and the line was 20 people deep. Waited for about 40 minutes to get to the counter to check-in.

Okay hotel, but overpriced
We really wanted to like this hotel, and partly we did. Staff was professional, attentive, and pleasant. We also liked that our room was clean and that it had a microwave and small refrigerator/freezer. It was also nice that it was in walking distance to the theme park and water park. However, when paying ober $400 per night for a standard room after taxes and fees, we expected a lot more. I have stayed in more luxurious hotels for less cost. The decor was very lack luster. We were expecting something much more grand than what it was. The mattresses were also sub par. In case of poor weather they did have an indoor pool, but it was no where near large enough to accommodate even a tenth of the number of guests the hotel could occupy.
