We stayed at the Intercontinental JHB Sandton Towers for a week and booked a standard room. On arrival we were very pleasantly surprised by a free upgrade to a suite, which was excellent. The suite was very big, with a dining table and four chairs and a couch and two additional single chairs in a large separate room. It also had an area with a large desk and full suite of stationery, such as pens, pencils, markers, highlighters as well as a printer. My wife had some business conference calls while we were in SA, and so these utilities came in very handy. There was also a separate half bathroom in the room, which proved very useful as we had visitors to our room on a few occasions. The mini bar fridge was complimentary and they came to refill when we had guests to the room, which was really nice. We had fresh fruit everyday and the bar snacks were also refilled every morning when the room was made up.

"Reasonably priced, lovely accommodation in Sandton"
A very nice hotel to stay in if you are going to Johannesburg. Walking distance to a huge mall, and to a craft market. Don't drive as parking is very expensive and driving dangerous. We took a shuttle from the airport, or you can take the train. After spending a day recovering from the flight, we picked up our rental just 2 blocks away from the hotel. Pretty hotel, well maintained, lovely garden. 2 bedroom suite a bargain for 2 couples.
Great breakfast included and the restaurant has very good food in the evening.
