It's been my second time at this hotel and felt welcome each time. The new breakfast/lunch restaurant with a handfull of drinks available upgrades this cozy, family run hotel unique and loveable. Staff and owner very helpful and accommodating.

I loved this little hotel! Watch the sunset every night. Great breakfast! Get a bucket of Belikin and chill in the pool after a long day of walking. Go to Caliente’s across the street and enjoy the best shrimp curry you ever had in your life while the steel drummer plays. Just wonderful!

The hotel was run by the most gracious and personable owner. He made us feel right at home! The hotel (newer rooms) are quaint, clean and located within walking distance to everything. The deck is a great space to sit and relax or watch the sun go down. The hotel is right across the street from Caliente restaurant, which has nightly live music that you can hear right from the pool. It was a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

Mattresses felt like they were from 1970’s bunk beds-every spring and seam hurt. Who knew that spring mattresses still exist? Shower still had an opened/empty shampoo container on the floor and a tarantula-sized hairball in the shower drain when we arrived, so raised the question regarding cleanliness. No safe in Room. 2 plug ins in room, tv/router/fridge plugged into extension cord and hanging off cords. Very centrally located and not a bad place to sleep for the one night we stayed, but any longer would be a hard no. The restaurant staff and Mike were amazing.

The property owner is mike and he runs the property with his lovely wife and daughter. You can tell they care about their property and guests as i was making too much noise at the pool one night and he kindly provided better options for us to be loud on the property without disturbing the other guests. Thanks Mike.

Very centrally located. Just off the main roads enough that you do not hear the constant rumbling of golf carts. Lagoon side of ocean is right across street.

All in all a great stay here. Convenient location, beautiful pool and courtyard, simple clean rooms with AC and a small fridge, at a good price. Will be staying here again next time I'm in San Pedro. Only con was internet was a little slow and patchy

Loved our group stay here at Ambergris Sunset! Owner was friendly, kind, understanding, and helpful. Location was super convenient and easy. Some minor problems such as a toilet leak/flood, but overall am satisfied with our stay

Mike is a great host, full of recommendations. The restaurant on site had great food and very reasonable. We loved sitting by the pool to cool off and relax.

For the price we paid everyhting was great. The host is very friendly and helpful. My kids loved the little pool, every evening afeter the beach they would soak in the pool again. We only foudn the beds a bit uncomfortable though.

Best Bang for Buck in San Pedro!
Excellent Value Stay! We will be coming back here again thats a promise. Super Friendly Staff and very affordable. They helped us arrange transportation and were spot on with the best restaurants to go to. This place is in a great location with a Grocery Store 1 block away and 1 of our favorite Restaurants right across the street.

We stayed here for ten days during July/Lobster Fest. It is convenient to all things, has a pool, restaurant & bar, and on the back street away from the noise. There is easy, safe parking for golf carts. The owner and staff are super friendly. It is a great, **budget-friendly** accommodation!

It was in the heart of San Pedro. We didn't even need a golf cart and walked the area several times. Lots of eating options on the property and around the hotel. Loved the dog on property - She was very mellow and loveable. The custom service was excellent. What we didn't like - Wished they provided more towels and the A/C took a little time to cool off the room.

Family operated, mom cooks wonderful, daughter runs the service, dad smiles a lot, all a delight. Home feel to stay, very friendly and relaxed. Basic accommodations but very clean, everything one needs, close to older part of town. Come here to enjoy the friendly side of Belize.

Nice property with food service and assistance to book tours. I stayed in an economy room and it was priced right. The room was clean, air conditioned and hot water. The staff are friendly polite and helpful. The food was excellent. It g has a small pool which is quite refreshing.

The staff was great. The accommodations were very clean. It was a very basic room which was just what I needed for the night we stayed there. The pool was nice and clean. I will probably stay there again.

There are no frills to this property, but you absolutely can’t beat the location. It’s city center but on the back side where there is little traffic. Lots of great dining options all around. The rooms were very basic but all you need if you’re out exploring all day. Recommend particularly for a short stay like ours in Ambergris.

this was one of the nicest places to stay and the rates were very reasonable. the rooms are very nice, theres a pool and place to park your gold cart, a restaurant on the premises and one right across the street, theres a deck on the third floor to watch the sunset, it looks out over a bunch of boats docked an its in the middle of town, within walking distance to most everything u would need

Stayed here for three nights in April 2023. If you get a golf cart, you will have parking on the property. If you dont get a golf cart, you will still have no problem seeing a lot of San Pedro as this place is very close to the downtown area including the airport and the ferry terminal. Lots of dining options and shopping are very close by in walking distance. The room was clean and the a/c works very well. I wish they give you more pillows tho. The pool is small but clean. The view on the top deck at sunset is breathtaking. Great price. I would recommend this place !

Good budget option in San Pedro. Quiet, clean, small fridge is a godsend. Small pool and deck with shaded seating is a nice place to spend an hour or two each day. Short walk to all key amenities.

Do not be tempted by the low price. I should of listened to the old adage, “You get what you pay for.” There was no water pressure in the shower and no warm water at all. The shower head dribbled out water. The floor creaked as it was about to cave in. The AC ran all night and was very loud and would spray dust into the room. Mike the owner was a very nice man but has not put any focus into maintaining his rooms.
