Pros: The staff can't do enough for you.
Location: Good location, just next to Chinatown. Easy to walk to Union Square. Located in the Financial District.
Very good hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel not too far from Union Square. Rooms comfortable. If you want excursions ask Mark the Concierge he is very knowledgeable.

Omni San Francisco

This hotel was fancy, but the beds were small, and there were no amenities such as a pool or fitness center. For the price, I expected much more.

Visit to SF

Great hotel close to china town and the cable cars. Beds were far too soft and we didn't get a good nights sleep. Overall I would recommend this place.

Great facility and staff!

Posted 04-Aug-2014
Pros: The rooms were well-appointed, comfortable and modern. The staff was so friendly that even people who were obviously off duty took time to greet us.
Location: Chinatown is just up the street, Little Italy is around the corner, and the piers are a short walk and a trolley ride away.
This hotel is not only close to everything, but the staff is extremely helpful. The concierge staff in particular was first rate. Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

Great location close to all sites

Posted 02-Aug-2014
Pros: Great room, firm mattresses, perfect temperature for sleeping. Great tips from the door men on things to do.
Location: Chinatown, Little Italy, Fisherman's wharf and movie theaters were all walking distance. Cable car stop just outside the front doors.
Wonderful experience for a 3 day weekend stay with our teenage son. Hotel was in a quiet location which was great for night time sleeping but was also walking distance to all the terrific SF sites and quaint neighborhoods. Rooms were a comfortable size and check in and hotel staff was exceptional. We were there on the weekend of the SF Marathon and a big movie filming and despite all the hub hub, the accomodations worked perfectly. Really enjoyed our stay.

Walked to China town, mass transit was close. Trolley ran down the street in front of the hotel.

We had a great stay. Great location. Laura at front desk helped print out Tix to AT&T Park and gave hints on travel. Darrel at front door was also very helpful. Hotel was clean and luxurious.

Nice hotel, good location

Posted 14-Jul-2014
We had six people in my group, so we had two rooms, each with 2 double beds. It was a little tight fitting two people in a double bed but it was manageable. Of course, that has more to do with the size of beds, not the hotel itself, but just an FYI, since there is not room for a roll away if you have 2 double beds. We had 8 people in the room at one point just hanging out, and it was not a problem, so the rooms were differently big enough. One thing I found strange was there was no fan in the bathroom. Wasn't a big deal, but just thought it was strange. Staff was very nice, and very quick to accommodate a couple requests we had. The location of the hotel itself, is pretty good. It is in the financial district, so it is a little bit limiting in terms of food options right around there, but we went to dinner at North Beach which was about a 5 to 10 minute walk away so not a big deal at all. Everyone in my group had a positive experience, and I would stay here again.

Very elegant

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Pros: Quiet, elegant, comfortable bed/pillows/linens and friendly, accomodating staff
Cons: Better quality iron in the room
Location: Many attractions, such as Ferry Building, ATT Park and Union Square close by
I stayed once at the San Francisco Omni several years ago when traveling alone and enjoyed my time there. Very elegant and comfortable, very friendly and accommodating staff, and very quiet on the weekends. But this time, my fiance' and I agreed that a pool/hot tub would have been nice, and a view of the Bay would've been glorious! So although this is a top-notch facility in many ways, it doesn't meet your needs if you're looking for a romantic retreat in the City by the Bay. Otherwise, the price is right for the quality of hotel and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Excellent Stay, Convenient Location, Helpful Staff

Posted 13-Jul-2014
Pros: Wonderful location and so clean and spacious rooms. One can even specify preferences for a high floor or corner room.
Cons: To save money on utility bills, the hotel can replace the incandescent lamps used, for the more energy efficient compact fluorescent lamps and LEDs.
Location: The Ferry Market building, Chinatown and fishermen's wharf are easily accessible from this place.
Had the pleasure to stay for only one night. We're a couple staying overnight and were treated to a very nice large room that was clean and wonderfully furnished. This hotel is close to everything. The Ferry Market Building was just a short 10 minute walk were we were able to go to the Hog Island Oyster Bar, a favorite place for seafood. This place was also so close to Chinatown. The staff were so helpful, from the valet to the reception desk. My husband is a diabetic and woke up at 1:30 Am and had a low blood sugar attack and he went down to the front desk and was helped by David T. with a glass of orange juice and a cookie to alleviate the symptoms my husband was suffering from. Many thanks to this super employee for helping my husband out. In the morning another staffer by the name of Kyle H helped us to get our wifi charges waived after verifying that we were Select Club members. Many thanks to him also and finally the Valet staff were very nice. Thanks to Jerome and Mark for helping us. Great experience at Omni. We'll likely stay again.
