Fantastic hotel with excellent staffPosted 03-Nov-2014
Pros: Everything about this hotel is great.
Cons: I can't thing of any.
Location: 10 minutes walk from the Union Square and the Fisherman's Wharf.
We just returned after a week at Omni hotel, a great place to be and we would return to this hotel again. Is well situated and near all the amenities. Very quiet and the house keeping is outstanding. Our room was near the lift but no noise at all. We had a fantastic time at this hotel.

Very elegant hotel , city centrePosted 02-Nov-2014
Pros: Every thing
Cons: A bit more info, what's inc in the price, the fact that they take deposit against any expenditure you may not pay for??!
Location: Central location lots to do. Exploratorium, all the piers, cable cars, shops
We booked from the UK so that we could have one night in the city. Although the hotel had great reviews we were un prepared for what we found. Very very up market hotel which we had not picked up from the booking site. It was amazing , lovely. We did not use any other part of the hotel just the bedroom.

excellent hotel in the heart of San FranciscoPosted 31-Oct-2014
Pros: The rooms were very nice. Always spotless. Great restaurant. Very helpful staff. Helped with directions, transportation, and anything else we needed.
Cons: I would not change a thing.
Location: Cable car stop was right at our door. Lots of places to eat. Cabs available if needed. China town very close.
Everything about the hotel was wonderful. Every single person working there was friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome.

Nice hotel in walking distance to many places! The bed did hurt our backs a little bit but we are used to a firm bed at home. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We signed up to be Omni Select Guests which gives you free wifi with your first stay!

Cons: My only complaint, is that the HVAC unit was a little too loud which made it hard to sleep.

Excellent Hotel in the Financial DistrictPosted 25-Oct-2014
Pros: My daughter especially liked the milk and cookies that were left in the room every night.
I was in San Francisco for a weekend with my teenage daughter after looking at Stanford and UC Berkeley. This is a very nice hotel with luxury amenities. I highly recommend signing up for Omni Rewards which will get you free wi-fi and a discount on parking. There are some parking garages nearby, but they were not open on the weekends, so we just valet parked. This is the best option for parking and just budget for it if you are bringing a car. The location is convenient for getting around San Francisco and the hotel staff is top notch. I would highly recommend.

San Francisco's Financial District's Hotel BestsPosted 25-Oct-2014
Pros: There is very little to NOT like! Number 1: ITS STAFF! Its location, its look and degree of general in-room comfort.
Cons: As my one thought for a recommendation, WiFi is an extra charge to the room unless you are a higher level Omni Select Guest member. Make it free...
Location: Central to the Financial District. Walking distance to Chinatown, Market Street, Union Square and easy access to the waterfront via cab.
The Omni Hotel in San Francisco is the location of choice for many in my work group - and I completely understand why. The location is ideal for access across the Financial District, Union Square, Market Street and Chinatown. The building itself has the look and feel of a luxury hotel in its heyday - mixed with many current amenities. The restaurant downstairs, Bob's, provides some of the best steaks in the area as well as a menu of other options that will appeal to many. It is the staff, however, that completely pushes this hotel over the top when it comes to feeling taken-care-of in San Francisco. Every person I interacted with was friendly, complimentary, accommodating and tremendously responsive. I happened to celebrate my birthday in the hotel while I was on a busines trip. My family made a special request to help me celebrate and the hotel presented me with a delectable tray of chocolate-covered strawberries! What a treat! From the Bell Hops, Valet Car folks and Door people to the Cleaning Crew and Front Desk, the Omni's staff is above reproach.

I wanted to stay at omni hotel because they are part of gha and had styed in some of there hotels in past but it was very dispointing!! Bathroom and bed room needs a lots of work!!! Door men try to make us take a uber for $30 which end up costing us in a regular taxi $11.20 only .
