"Great location to tourist attractions. The room itself was blah. It is an older hotel that’s been renovated by slapping an extra coat of paint on everything. Our room was in a very dark ominous hallway. It smelled musty and like stale cigarettes. Someone was always smoking pot and the smell lingered. The beds are super uncomfortable. Might as well sleep in the ground. Bring your own pillows unless you want to sleep on lumpy squares."
"Club Quarters was good enough. It Definitely looks nicer online, but is clean and the bed was comfortable.
Add $45 a day if you have a car to park in the Parking Structure across the street."
"Beautiful Hotel, they were kind enough to give is an upgraded room with an amazing view when we checked in for no reason. The area is verry nice as well. Much cleaner and safer feeling than other parts of the city. Their car service was excellent as well. The had black car service available which made traveling in the city much easier."
"This grand SF hotel is lit up by the kindness of its well-trained staff. The rooms, furnished simply, are comfortable in every respect. The full-service bathtubs are a rare luxury. I make sure to stay at the Chancellor every time I visit from NYC (yearly). A great institution continuously renewing itself."
"As with most hotels in San Francisco – I presume – there were lots of hidden fees to work out. That aside, the hotel is very nice, with a nice happening feel and lots to do in the lobby, making it a great place to hang out.The location of the hotel is ideal. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return and stay there next time."
